Wasn't going to post it, but this way we look a bit livelier:

The news code (http://pkmn.net/?action=news) has received a major overhaul. Aside from looking a bit nicer, region and type filters have been added.

Ooh, very nice! Looks slick. Could I ask what the region select function does? I can't see any difference when toggling between the options, both on the homepage and the news section itself.

Also - congratulations on 6000 posts... that is, well, a lot. :)

It's only going to work on new news posts (as we won't go back and change the old ones - not yet at least). It will filter out the news items that aren't relevant for that region (such as not showing Japan-only giveaways in the UK)
