Investing in a distortion pedal was honestly one of the best things I've done. Just have to take these strings off, give it a wipe-down and then put some new ones back on.

After exclusively playing the acoustic for years everything's just clicking so it's fun.

ngl as a cringey industrial/math/nu-metalhead in my teens the whole reason i got into guitar was Distortion

not dissin them or anything but like i didn't get how people went anywhere near acoustics???? like at all. and their "did you want to get to anything past the fifteenth fret w/o dislocating your hand? too bad" as i put my korg ax100g on the NIN setting and played palm muted system of a down drop c power chords all the live long day with one finger again and devoutly avoided fingerpicking lessons or arpeggio/scales and wondered why despite playing the How To Draw Anime of music i wasn't improving (but with headphones plugged into the aux out because i was too shy and didn't want anyone to hear my badly drawn songs)

in any case welcome to the darkside brother. learn pinch harmonics (i could never get them) and palm muted chords and ur all set

When I was at college I was playing Children of Bodom, Metallica, Megadeth, Hammerfall and all that, but since I went to uni I've been playing a lot of John Mayer. Now I can't play any of that metal stuff anymore.

Got 96% on a criminal law mock, I mean it was only the multiple choice paper but still, 70% is a 1st, shame it wasn't the real one tho.

Just got over a bit of my awkwardness and contacted the people who did the artwork for the big 2GGC Civil War battle last night, because I want to see if they'll sell prints.

Not really sure if this is an accomplishment, but, I made a Kangaskhan wiping it's face while leaning on something looks like it's dabbing! Oh well, I'm sure it'll get me loads of YouTube comments! Any comments here?

I experienced something funny just now.

I got an email from a website called Supercheats, informing me that someone had replied to a comment I made.
When did I make the comment that was replied to? 10 years ago!

Since the email adressed me by my username which I forgot ages ago, I also regained access to my account.

I didn't use the name Petzbreeder on Supercheats, like I do just about everywhere else, which is why I couldn't access my account for years.

Went to society event tonight with people who aren't my usual friend group and actually had the best ever time and was made to feel incredibly special and that is 100% the positivity I need in my life

We got an awesome SUV today and the manager didn't seem pleased with us. From how he sounded, we flat out fleeced the company.

I'm having fun creating a fake email to send to my housemate as an April Fool's prank.

The email offers her a paid internship at a fashion house she works quite closely with but when you click the link for 'more information' it just leads to the vine of that little boy saying "XOXO Gossip Girl" 🙈

Potentially my best prank that I've actually played on April Fools?

not dissin them or anything but like i didn't get how people went anywhere near acoustics????

Achos you need an acoustic to approach cuties  and start strumming away to some random song (Chasing Cars, Wonderwall, Own Song) whilst making awkward eye contact with the  one with less self-esteem as you call her "bay-beh" and furiously vape some vanilla-scented uncool at her (Fedora, et al., 2017).

They're just kinda cool despite being unable to get at anything after the 15th fret. I like the sound and stuff, it's pretty neat.

in any case welcome to the darkside brother. learn pinch harmonics (i could never get them) and palm muted chords and ur all set

Defo gan' give pinch harmonics ago since they sound cool AS HECK so defo. Thanks breh, may we rock in heaven or simultaneously vape and tip our fedoras (with our fingerless gloves) in whatever happens once we die.

Not as suave as I thought I was with the quoting like ngl.

The pub had a live band playing and I flirted with some people. Ngl, it was like a German meat-market with the sheer amount of sausage so I was flirting with people that I already know but I might have a date going on? Might get another date over Easter so #yolo.
