How do we know that canned pet food tastes like what the label says if the pets can't talk? Do pet food companies hire people to test taste the food? Are they paid a high wage or minimum wage?

Are you talking about the ghosts before you get the Scope or Gastly and Haunter? Because the latter two are Ghosts and nothing happens then. But if you mean the glitch ghosts then yes, the game will be messed up. You cannot catch the Marowak without hacking. It will always dodge what ever Poké Ball you use.

I wasn't referring specifically to the Marowak, just any ghost in pkmn tower.

You can't hurt the ghosts because your Pokemon are a bunch of pussies too scared to fight and you can't catch them, because they're so good at dodge ball! But what if you hacked the game so they don't dodge and you have a 100% chance of success? Would the game crash or would it handle it? If so, what would the ghosts stats be like? What (if any) moves would it have?

Also, what would happen if you played the game with no pokemon?

Beatuifly and Dustox are pretty much the same pokemon. Beatuifly is part flying type and weak to electric. Dustox is a bug/poison flying bug and isn't weak to electric? This is why pokemon need more than two types!
