“yanchan”, a fighting-type resembling a panda
“yayakoma”, a normal-flying pokemon resembling a robin bird
“gogoat”, a grass-type Pokemon resembling a goat “ride pokemon” (you can literally ride him around town, as seen in a picture)
“elekiteru”, an electric/normal-type quadruped with long ears.
you can also see the box art for x and y on the last picture on the right!
you can also slightly customize your character's hair and skin color.
new region is called karosu, with the main city being miare city.

mawile prevo? you mean the yellow and black one? from what ive heard its an electic/normal type. the only thing it's going to share with mawile is the fighting and ground weakness

I just think it looks exactly like Mawlie tbh. Would be cool if it wasn't though, kinda looks like a ground type to me though. idk.

I was honestly prepared to dismiss any new pokemon as fake when I first saw the topic name, but those pictures do look pretty legit. I'm still not 100% convinced, but there is actually a good chance of those being real.

Okay, according to ONM UK, they're real. Also, the region is apparently called Karos and character customisation has been confirmed. I'm officially super-psyched!
Also, according to blocked, you can ride Gogoat in the field.

I like all of these new Pokemon, and I'm really excited for Trainer customization. This generation has me pretty excited already!

I like all four of the new 'mons, but my favorite is probably the panda. I've been waiting for a robin-based Pokemon for a while, though, so I can't wait to see what that evolves into. The yellow thing is kooky and cute, so color me intrigued as far as that's concerned. And then there's Gogoat. I was hoping for something different not long after a Normal/Grass deer, but at least it looks cool, and fun to ride.

If there's any complaint I've had the past two and a half generations, it's that the male protagonist designs have sort of felt the same. Only the female designs really try anything new. The last interesting boy protag design we've had (in my humble opinion) was Brendan from Ruby and Sapphire. (then we found out it was a hat. *cough*) I'd go easy on Lucas except he sort of started the whole same-y feel I'm talking about with his Platinum ensemble.

I would be pretty happy if they gave us a male trainer without a hat at some point. Or even if they let us remove this one's hat with the character customisation.

The panda and goat pokemon looks cool whilst the other two are really cute. I like the female trainers design, the male looks like the guy from B&W imo, but it's cool you can customize them.
my pokemon fix has been satisfied by this announcement. I'm more excited for these games than I was for B&W/B&WII

Fair point. Maybe the male's are just annoying me more because that's what I always play as.

A clearer scan has emerged and it looks like the Pokedex will be divided into 3 regions this time:
Central Karos Pokédex
Coastal Karos Pokédex
Mountain Karos Pokédex
Looking at the screenshot, whoever took the photo has seen 77 Pokemon in the Central Karos dex, 51 Pokemon in the Coastal Karos dex and 6 in the Mountain Karos dex. If 'Karos Pokedex' means Pokemon exclusive to the new region then there are at least 134 new Pokemon.
Still though, I hope this is an implication that the region is going to be huge.

It showed some in the trailers and it showed a Wild Pikachu popping up in the grass. ^^
