Confirmed today on the Nintendo Direct, the first generation of games will be rereleased on the 3DS Virtual Console worldwide on February 27th. The trading and battling via link cables will be done via Wi-Fi too.

How do you beat Brock in Yellow?

How do you beat Brock in Yellow?
I trained a nidoran to level 11 or whenever it learns Double Kick and just kicked all of them to death.

Why did I never think of that?

Or train a Caterpie into Butterfree and teach it Confusion as small back up.

I still own Red and Yellow ad play them on my SNES every now and then, but I am most likely gonna get these at some point.

games are a mess and outclassed every way by later entries but yes I'm going to buy Blue and Yellow and complete my Dex on them.

I will get all three of them despite having a copy of Blue in my house somewhere.

the SUPER Gameboy was a device that let you play Game Boy games on your big screen. did you know. did you? DID YOU??

I believe the rereleases have been rated 12+, while would be most likely due to in-game gambling so it should be in there....unless today's kids just can't handle Lavender Town. :laugh:

Yay Europe is getting the Red, Blue and Yellow transparent 2DS bundles that Japan is getting, I love that it has the orginal artwork of the GB boxes on them <3

Well, my 3ds just broke, so I'll just upgrade once I get a job and get this instead. If only they had a venusaur cover >.>

so whos playing rby and having a hard time adjusting to the retroness of it all
i bought blue, might get yellow when im done. im only at brock rn but man im having a good time. its weird going through these games now im not a dumb kid and actually know how to play videogames.

I got all three and put Blue on my 3DS XL and Red and Yellow on my New 3DS XL for trading and completion purposes. I don't play them often right now due to my schedules but I'm the furthest in Yellow and am currently in Celedon City. In Red and Blue I'm in Cerulean.
