31. But if you're Canadian you don't help her case that it's apparently necessary to be British - in fact it hinders it

33. Very true. Although I'm surprised that most of you haven't heard of/watched Monty Python, I would disagree with her when she said that you have to be British to know about it/enjoy the series. However, Canada is a child country to Britain and is more closer, unlike America who seemed to do stupid things simply to spite the British in the past, such as creating another sport called football. You only use your foot a few times in American football and there was already a sport called football, so why make another one with the exact same name and use a name that doesn't even fit?

34. My point was not that only British people will know the series, my point was that Monty Python is a huge part of British culture and our comedy. I find it hard to believe that there are British people who haven't heard of/watched Monty Python stuff because they are so popular and there are constantly documentaries etc. about them and also other things that members of Monty Python are in.
I wasn't saying that because someone who is Canadian likes Monty Python it makes them British or that people who aren't British aren't allowed to watch Monty Python, either. So get off my back you guys.

It just blows my mind that there are still Britons out there who haven't even heard of them

35. I find it quite ridiculous you're amazed someone hasn't heard of a TV show...

36. Well its quite famous, but also quite old. I suppose its not that surprising to me, as my dad likes to show me all the old timey sort of stuff he used to watch and do. One of those things, of course, being the  Monty Python's flying circus T.V. show. If you still have any local movie rental stores, you might get lucky and be able to pick up a copy of one of the "best of Monty pythons flying circus" type videos. I strongly recommend it.

37. I don't tend to find comedies very funny though (I've gathered this is a comedy?)

40. Excellent, now do it with a magikarp. Anyone else think it would be funny if pokemon made a trainer with a full team of level 100 magikarps?

4. Sorry, I'm not really intimidated by a kitten. Especially when I have about five cats of my own.
