Hello everyone! If you've met me on Steam, then we're already acquainted. If we haven't crossed paths yet, then allow me to say a few things about myself.

For starters, and this should be obvious, I absolutely ADORE Pokemon, and I've played every game in the series since FireRed/LeafGreen. My personal favorite Pokemon is Breloom, though I'd imagine most people would guess Ninetales.

Secondly, as stated above I do have a Steam account. The URL for the page is on my profile, so check that out if you want. I play Team Fortress 2, Terraria, and Left 4 Dead 2. I also roleplay, so that's fun too.

Finally, I am on a mission to nickname every single Pokemon I catch, whether I use it or not. However, I'm just one person and I can't come up with good nicknames for everything out there. That's where you guys come in: I'll put up a Pokemon that needs a nickname and you guys can contribute a name that you think fits. This isn't Name Rater, so I won't judge your nicknames. I just need some inspiration sometimes is all.

Welcome, I usually go by SB2K, SB2000 and Blaze. I'm obviously a Blaziken person, but I also like Lucario, Ninetales, Vulpix, and Espeon. It's nice to have you here and I hope you enjoy your time here.

I'm dragoncat, or just cat, or whatever you'd like to call me. My favorite pokemon is Giratina, though I also like the Deino line, most Ghost types, most Dragon types, and really too many others to name.

I also roleplay quite a bit, so if you decide to hang around the roleplay board, you'll probably see me there. Also, if you want, you should check out the irc chat. It's a good way to get to know others here. It's often quiet, but you can usually find someone to talk to if you're patient and try to start conversation. I'm usually there, though I'm not actually too talkative, but I'll say hi if I notice you drop in. If you drop in and no one is talking, even when you try to start, try calling us by name, many of us use irc clients other then then one on the site, so we'll be notified if you say our names.
(sorry for the irc information dump, I've just been getting really frustrated with people dropping in, staying for a minute, then complaining no one is talking to them and leaving.)

Sorry for not posting in a long time, I've been bogged down with school stuff and a whole buncha other things.

But anyway, Delicious_Scout, I kind of agree and disagree with you there. On one hand, I used to play World of Warcraft insanely often. One could say I was addicted; I had the Lvl 84 Undead Hunter (And I tamed that super-rare silver kitty-tiger-thingy in the jungle area which has the name I don't remember, yay me!)
Then I stopped just eight days before Pandaria released. I came back time to time in the following year, but Pandaria had mega-nerfed Hunters (I can no has both bow and scythe at same time? Boo...) and I didn't get as much joy out of it as I'd used to. So I pretty much quit after that. That was three years ago.

I disagree because, while I learned of Steam just a year and a half ago, I've found myself loving it just as much. Terraria was my first game on steam - I got it on a free weekend - and somehow it exceeded my interest for TF2 by miles, at least at first. Naturally, I grew to like TF2 during a time when my original account's password was forgotten and my parents were unable to fix it, so TF2 was my only option in Terraria's absence. Somehow or another, it brought back my memories of WoW, and I even went so far as to name my first-ever Eyelander "Frostmourne", after the Lich King's sword of the same name. Even today, I'm developing an OC based exclusively around that old Hunter of mine, and I remember his appearance, level, race, most of the pets that I had tamed and their individual names, equipment, weapons...hell, I remember the name of the amazing Horde Guild I'd been part of! (Shadow Wolves, YE YE YEEE!)

Suffice to say, I haven't forgotten World of Warcraft. Not even a little. I'm almost certainly going to redownload the game and try to rejoin my old Guild. Rekindle the fires of old, you know?

Now, my favor to you and anyone else in this thread. If anyone here can make contact with my old guild, Shadow Wolves, or its members, tell them this. Tell them Attinis says hello, and that just like a Phoenix dies and comes back to life anew, I'll do the same.

And if any of my old friends from Shadow Wolves are reading this, I'll never, EVER, forget you guys. It's just a matter of time now, and when I do return to the game that made my youth what it was, I hope you'll accept me back into the guild. I'll be under a new name, but this "Huntard" hasn't changed a bit. You can count on it. Till then, good luck in all of your escapades.
