Description:       5'10", 151lbs

His Story So Far: He was born and raised on Knot Island and lived his whole life on the Sevii Islands before leaving on his journey at the age of 15. He looks to prove that even a boy from the islands can be a great Pokemon Trainer. People have always doubted him so above all he wants to prove that he has what it takes. There isn't a lab on Knot Island so he had to catch his own starting Pokemon, Tyrogue. His grandfather was born in Viridian City and was once a great and well known Pokemon Trainer. His untimely death left Xander more determined than ever to follow his dreams. He placed in the top 16 in the Sinnoh League Conference, losing to his longtime rival, Donna and after journeying across the Johto region got the chance to battle against the Elite Four and their Champion, Lance, but only managed to defeat three. He now travels the Unova region, collecting the badges and hoping to compete in his next Pokemon League competition while learning more about himself, not only as a trainer, but as a person as well.

Jolteon / Safari Ball

Eevee accidentally evolved into Jolteon a few seconds after Xander obtained it in a trade with Vince for his Scyther, due to Amanda's Thunder Stone. Jolteon's personality has changed because of its evolution. She now has more attitude and she doesn't like anyone other than Xander and Amanda. However, she is strong and Xander likes to keep her around because she reminds him of Sparx, his late grandfather's old Jolteon.


Panpour/ Poke Ball
[Quirky/Gluttony]

Xander first met Panpour on Route 17 just after arriving in the Unova Region. Although his initial attempt to capture it was unsuccessful, he got another chance outside of Professor Juniper's lab in Nuvema Town and managed to snag it. Panpour uses its agility well in battle and seems to have an intense fear of lightning and electricity that goes beyond it's type disadvantage.


Tepig/ Poke Ball
[Mild/Blaze]
(Tackle, Tail Whip, Ember)

Xander received Tepig from professor Juniper after Snivy and Oshawott were taken by Dune and Harmony, respectively. Tepig doesn't have much experience battling and requires a good deal of training since it was originally meant for a starting trainer. It has a lot of heart and finds itself getting close to its new trainer rather quickly, causing Jolteon to become jealous.


Rufflet/ Poke Ball
[Rash/Sheer Force]

Xander caught Rufflet at the PAI Academy during his Pokemon Capture Skills class. He found it fighting a Vullaby and after defeating it, Rufflet turned its aggressions on Xander. The boy defeated it and captured it, hoping to get a good grade, but since he accidentally used on of his own pokeballs, he was given a failing grade. Nevertheless, although not much is known about Rufflet at this point he is sure to be a great addition to Xander's team with attacks like Aerial Ace and Crush Claw.


Cubchoo/ Poke Ball
[Timid/Snow Cloak]
(Powder Snow, Bide)

Xander received the egg that contained Cubchoo in his Pokemon Breeding Techniques class while attending PAI. He was charged with the task of caring for it until it hatched and raising it to be a healthy young Pokemon once it did. However, after accidentally dropping the egg down a hill, it was cracked and hatched prematurely. Not much is known about Cubchoo yet, but it appears to be very timid, which is to be expected from such a young Pokemon.

Minun (Male)/ No Pokeball
[Jolly/Minus]
(Spark, Copy Cat, Swift, Charge, Agility, Thunder Wave)

Xander met Minun at a festival after a contest.  Minun was extremely drawn to him and Xander befriended him quickly.  Minun is great support for his fellow teammates, and loved nothing more than to sit in Xander's bag and travel with him wherever he may go, but it has recently gotten comfortable in Xander's home and he decided to leave the tiny mouse with his parents.


Hitmonchan (Male)/Premier Ball
[Adamant/Iron Fist]
(Comet Punch, Bulk Up, Mach Punch, Mega Punch, Endure, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Counter, Sky Uppercut, Vacuum Wave)

Tyrogue evolved into Hitmonchan during Xander's struggle against the intruders that held him hostage inside of the Johto Radio Tower. After its evolution, Hitmonchan's cockiness has been replaced by a raw confidence in its abilities. It has an undying fighting spirit and it is still very loyal, always giving 110% in battle. Hitmonchan uses it's quick and powerful punching attacks to beat it's opponents into submission. The Punching Pokemon's fondness of Xander has only grown since it's evolution, but it isn't above giving him a bit of a beating from time to time.


Wartortle (Male)/ Net Ball
[Brave/Torrent]
(Tackle, Withdraw, Bubble, Watergun, Bite, Brine, Rapid Spin, Water Pulse)

Squirtle evolved into Wartortle during Xander's battle with Zack in the Whirl Cup Competition. Wartortle is now stronger and faster than before. His nature hasn't changed much at all, however. He is still very brave and won't back down from any challenge, but he's now smarter when it comes to battle and will no longer just blindly rush an opponent to prove his strength.


Pidgeot (Male)/ Poke Ball

Xander's Pidgeotto evolved during a battle with General Grant's Aerodactyl while aboard the pirate ship, The Dragon Tooth. After taking a direct hit from an Ancient Power attack and falling into the ocean, Pidgeotto re-emerged, fully evolved, and returned to help Xander fight along Captain James Malik and his Dragonite.  Pidgeot is a proud, powerful Pokemon that always pulls through when needed most. However, Xander hasn't used him in a while and he's not as sharp as he once was.


Gliscor (Male)/Great Ball
[Hardy/Hyper Cutter]
(Slash, Harden, Double Team, Quick Attack, Metal Claw, Protect, Fire Fang, Poison Jab, X-Scissor)

Xander's Gligar evolved in a match against Amy's Nidoking. The match was being filmed by reporter Tina Nix for the show "Pokemon Battle Watch". Gliscor's most prominent attribute is its great defense, but it's not lacking in the speed department either. It's signature, and most powerful, attack is X-Scissor. Gliscor is a strong, sturdy Pokemon and, along with Snorlax, is a defensive backbone of Xander's party.


Mr. Mime (Male)/ Poke Ball
[Jolly/Soundproof]
(Tickle, Barrier, Reflect, Light Screen, Confusion, Mimic, Double Slap, Uproar, Psybeam)

Mr. Mime evolved from Mime Jr. during Xander's match with Will of the Elite Four. Mr. Mime has improved psychic abilities, but he's just as jolly as ever. Along with its new powers, it'ss gained a stronger love for battles and is always waiting for an opportunity to show its skills...or play the occasional joke on its trainer.


Weavile (Male)/ Poke Ball
[Serious/Pressure]
(Slash, Metal Claw, Ice Punch, Quick Attack, Night Slash, Feint Attack, Icy Wind)

Xander won Weavile in a battle with a man named Robert where he gambled Tyrogue's ownership. After winning, he reluctantly took Weavile as his own.  Weavile is very respectful of those with power and those who are superior to it, as shown by the  great respect it showed toward Tyrogue after being defeated by it. It is also a very strong Pokemon itself, both physically and mentally.


Quagsire (Male)/ Net Ball
[Mild/Water Absorb]
(Water Gun, Tail Whip, Mud Shot, Yawn, Slam, Mud Bomb, Rain Dance, Muddy Water)

Xander's Wooper evolved during his training with Maylene, the Veilstone City Gym Leader. Quagsire's personality hasn't changed much since his evolution, however, not only has his power increased, but a few of his behavioral traits have as well.  He's now much more playful than before, but he is often found staring blankly into the distance and he is often oblivious to his surroundings.


Murkrow (Male)/ Dusk Ball
[Impish/Super Luck]
(Peck, Pursuit, Haze, Wing Attack, Night Shade, Confuse Ray, Feint Attack)

Xander captured Murkrow in the Ilex Forest, but not after the mischievous bird stole one of his Poke Balls and led both he and Crystal deep into the woods and got them very lost. Xander has made a concious effort to use it more in battles and it's skills have improved because of this. It also has kleptomaniac tendencies and will steal anything it finds interesting enough to take without a second thought.


Swellow (Female)/ Great Ball
[Adamant/Guts]
(Peck, Focus Energy, Quick Attack, Agility, Wing Attack, Double Team, Ariel Ace, Brave Bird)

Xander's Taillow evolved into Swellow during a battle with Saturn, an Admin for Team Galactic. Swellow has grown into more of a adamant nature, but she seems to have retained her odium for bug Pokemon. She has now gotten fully used to her great speed and has trained with Xander's Pidgeot, learning a few new techniques as well.

Sableye(Female)/Timer Ball
[Quiet/Keen Eye]
(Foresight, Night Shade, Detect, Faint Attack, Confuse Ray, Shadow Ball, Mean Look, Shadow Claw)

Xander captured Sableye in a dark forest during his travels through the Kanto region. He traded it to his friend Zenno for his Chimchar, but after releasing the fire Pokemon, Zenno gave Sableye back to Xander. She is very cunning, yet quiet, and often isolates herself, choosing not to spend time with the other Pokemon.


Weepinbell (Male)/ Nest Ball
[Quirky/Chlorophyll]
(Vine Whip, Sweet Scent Wrap, Acid, Stun Spore, Razor Leaf)

Xander's Bellsprout evolved into Weepinbell while back at home with his parents. In it's evolution, it has lost it's flexible body in exchange for a more sturdy one and has found many ways to compensate for its new body's shortcomings. For instance, since it is now without legs, Weepenbell uses two vines to maneuver itself around. It is still a lively Pokemon and always love to keep itself moving to the strange rhythm in it's head. Not much else is known about the Pokemon since most of Xander's Pokemon are barred from transfer due to a malfunction in the island's Pokemon Transfer System.

Scizor (Male)/ Great Ball
[Rash/Swarm]
(Slash, Leer, Focus Energy, Quick Attack, Metal Claw, Agility, Brick Break, X-Scissor)

Xander evolved his Scyther just before the Battle Tower with the help of Amanda and a Metal Coat. Scizor is still a very rash Pokemon, but doesn't get angered nearly as easily as before. It treats Xander like the leader of its pack while treating Xander's other Pokemon like pack-mates. Scizor is a very well-rounded Pokemon due to its speed, strong body and powerful attacks, but is very vulnerable to powerful Fire-type attacks.


Typhlosion (Male)/ Poke Ball
[Adamant/Blaze]
(Tackle, Ember, Defense Curl, Flame Wheel, Dig, Lava Plume, Swift, Crush Claw, Flamethower)

Xander's Quilava evolved during his battle against Jasmine's Steelix. Typhlosion has become even more aggressive than before and takes pride in its power. His powerful fire attacks can stand up to even the strongest of opponents. His rapport with Xander from all the time they've spent together is a large reason for its loyalty to him.


Snorlax (Male)/ Poke Ball
[Lax/Thick Fat]
(Tackle, Yawn, Amnesia, Defense Curl, Rollout, Body Slam, Double Edge, Strength, Hyper Beam)

Munchlax evolved into Snorlax during the three and a half month time skip as Xander trained for the Sinnoh League Conference.  Snorlax, like most of his kind, spends the majority of its time sleeping and usually only wakes up to eat. It can't stop itself once it starts, therefore, Xander still has to bribe it with food to battle. Its defense is unparalleled among Xander's Pokemon, due to his abundance of body fat.


Nidoking (Male)/ Luxury Ball
[Rash/Rivalry]
(Horn Attack, Focus Energy, Take Down, Ice Beam, Stomp, Sludge Bomb, Mega Horn, Earth Power, Dragon Pulse)

Xander's Nidoking evolved from Nidorino during a long stay in Celadon City.  It was exposed to Moon Stone that had been tampered with by Team Rocket and, as a side effect, Nidoking has evolved with the ability to use Ice Beam without the use of a TM. Nidoking is certainly one of Xander's strongest Pokemon. It spent a lot of time on Xander's island during his recent travels, but he is just as aggressive and powerful as ever.
