reeves and mortimer
armando iannucci
chris morris
the cast of the fast show
ian hislop (i guess he sorta counts here)
the cast of any good ep of Whos Line Is It Anyway

nrrghhshsh yes.
reeves and mortimer are the best still.
and ian hislop is fantastic. i love paul merton as well (we need to watch some of the Whose Line episodes he was on aw yee.. and also more Whose Line in general, ive got the next few episodes of the reboot) but ian is my favourite of the two sry.
armando iannucci and chris morris are also great and ridiculous and so is charlie brooker.
the fast show is excellent.
beth one day ill make you watch my posh cambridge footlights fry & laurie comedy aww yeee (they are... also the best yeah. i suck at picking favourites ok).
speaking of which, monty python get a special note obviously yes.

well ive started now, may as well continue... (in no order haha i cant make lists)... yES eddie izzard.. one liners like tim vine, milton jones & stuart francis.. lee mack, jon richardson, linda smith (:c), rhod gilbert, miranda hart, david mitchell, holly walsh, fred macauley, ross noble, liza tarbuck, mark watson, sarah millican, reginald d hunter, ed byrne, sean lock, sue perkins, tamsin greig (probably more of an actress but idc), catherine tate (likewise), bill bailey, josie long, dara o'briain, marcus brigstocke, rich hall, phill jupitus, jo brand.
victoria coren isnt a comedian technically but shes hilarious so shes on this list.
dylan moran gets the top spot for comedian favourites though.

not forgetting my radio 4 loves... barry cryer, graeme garden, tim brooke-taylor, andy hamilton, sandi toksvig (i want to be her when i grow up), jeremy hardy, jack dee, hennig wehn, arthur smith, john finnemore (writing & standup), miles jupp...
(also paul sinha lmao)

also SUSAN CALMAN. i actually want to marry her help she's so lovely <3333

probably missed some out but w/e like i said i seem to like most comedians.

No mention of Frankie Boyle? :O

Him and Jimmy Carr. Shocking humour is the best because it's funny to watch people get offended by it.
hahahahahahaha

i preferred frankie boyle before his entire act/persona went along the lines of "people find me oUTRAGEOUS so lets keep playing it up" and he kept trying to outdo himself and it got pretty daft.
and i dont personally like jimmy carr all that much, sometimes hes amusing but overall something about him annoys me.
and yet i watch 8 out of 10 cats because sean lock is one of my favourites and im secretly in love with jon richardson.

also i only found out pretty recently that tim vine is jeremy vines brother and i had to lie down on the floor for about half an hour in shock because what.

aLSO the league of gentlemen even though theyre not really a league so much any more. but reece and steve have more things planned i think. speaking of which, psychoville was gr89. even if it means that i still call daniel kaluuya tealeaf :(
and reeves and mortimer i heard are doing a new bbc show. ive no idea what that would be seeing as lucky sexy winners didnt work out, sighs... well i liked it. not that it means much haha, though lots of people complain about shooting stars and i think it was still fantastic right up until it stopped.

FINALLY can i get a cheer of adoration for Look Around You, and the other stuff that popper and serafinowicz have done since then?? yes good.

Look Around You is still one of the most underrated shows of all time. First series was better than second I thought, just for the gratuitous labeling of the equipment.

Clearly very underrated since I've never heard of it.

On the subject of underrated shows: The Thin Blue Line. Sitcom written by Ben Elton starring Rowan Atkinson and David Haig but I've never met anyone who's watched it other than my family. It's fantastic though.

Thin Blue Line was about a police force, right? I was really young when I watched it, remember it being funny though.

I'm a fan of Frankie Boyle on the darker end of the scale, but also McIntyre at the other end.
