Title: First Nuzlocke

I'm currently doing my first nuzlocke on soul silver, chose a female Totodile.  Any tips would be much obliged, as well as suggestions on how to present it on completion.
current party:  Kairi, f Totodile, lv15; Sora, m Pidgey, lv10; Buzzjoy, f Beedrill (hm slave), lv10; Mareep egg
Boxed: Riku, m Gastly, lv6; Jack, m Spearow, lv3;
RIP: Dudley, m Sentret, lv4-lv4
