You're horribly off.

It's not nintendo's choice. Some shops decided to sell early and now there are copies out there. It'll be all leaked before release day. It's not GF or Nintendo's choice it's rogue shops.

EDIT: Also copies are sent off to be reviewed so there's a possibility people have got hold of them somehow through that method.

I've been following the instagram guy who has a copy of the game already.

Holy crap, I wanted to avoid spoilers but it's just too compelling. Thankfully no new Pokemon shown just yet, looks like everyone has seen the early-game Pokemon.

I'm kind of sad this is happening though, I really wanted it to be a simultaneous release.

And yes, there's also a Pokeflute item I saw in the bag. I think they are trying to get new and old players interested in this game, I'm pretty happy about it.
