When you're younger, you get offended when you're told you look younger than you are.

Bought some drill bits, wood, mesh, etc. from a DIY store the other day for taxidermy/ aviary housing for rehabs and kept getting told, "that's not a toy that isn't".

I dunno how young the guy thought I was or whether the patronisation was because I'm female O_o; (likely a bit of both, huh?) Can't hold it against the old fella' though, he was in his 90's and had been running that shop for 70yrs.

I often forget that I need to be ID'd for things. I bought glue the other day and the self-serve in B&Q refused to serve me >_>;

I just saw someone get a perfect streak "Through the Fire and the Flames" on Expert from Guitar Hero 3. I have no idea what to believe in anymore.

That person isn't the only one, so it can't be impossible for you to do so too ^^

you can console yourself with the fact that these people poured a lot of effort into an ultimately very useless skill

I would, if I didn't practice said useless skill myself. Oh well, back to video games.

I hate what I've become; I wanted to improve yet all I did was take my positives and turn them into negatives. I'm just a parasite that makes everything I come into contact with so much worse.

I can't do this staying sober crap either, it's too hard.

That Morrisons deliberately put their cheaper croissants on the shelf just before the best before date so I feel like I have to buy the more expensive ones that are always 4+ days before expiring. They're monsters.

Yeah, this is like the best thing to do ever xD

If I know I'm having sandwiches the next day, I always go to sainsburys before closing and you cans get salami for like 10p and then a loaf of bread for about the same xD

^this is how I used to feed my rabbit for cheap - you can always find reduced veg and herbs at the end of the day (especially at ASDA, which is over the road from where I work). I used to get bunches of coriander, parsley and mint for 5p!

...and I always feel like I've got 1up over the supermarket for buying things so cheap, lol.
