I have seen a bit of this film. I'd like to see it all. Who's seen it? And what do you think?

Please: NO SPOILERS!

I have it on DVD. I was actually very impressed with it.

I'm not going to reveal anything major, but one of my favourite scenes is when Stephen's friend carries him down some steps and takes him off-screen for a while. When he comes on-screen again, I burst out laughing!

It's the true story of Stephen Hawking, if you know anything about who he is then you already know what happens.

The Imitation Game is supposed to be the better of the two biopics though.

I saw bits of the theory of everything over someone's shoulder on a train.  can't say too much as obvs haven't seen the whole thing, but redmayne's physicality is very impressive

interestingly, i felt underwhelmed by the imitation game.  in fairness, i was pretty rough w sinusitis and completely feverish when i watched it, so perhaps i was underwhelmed by virtue of 'i want to leave this cinema now please' rather than 'this film is bad'

thanks gl <3

I've seen the part where he collapses and then he's in hospital, then they get him that chair.

I still haven't seen it! When will this torture end?!
