What was your first shiny?

My was a gyarados. I caught it yesterday.

First shiny I ever got was a Gengar traded from my friend during the Shiny Mega Gengar event. When I couldn't get one for myself.

The first one I ever actually caught was a Mienfoo in the friend safari. I was actually looking away from the screen at the time and it took a good minute for me to look back. Suddenly the cream and blue Mienfoo catches me by surprise and I spit-take my drink out.

First shiny I got was a shiny Giratina from an event. First shiny I got that wasn't from an event was a shiny Ferroseed while I was IV breeding. And the first shiny I found in the wild was a shiny Skrelp using the fishing method of shiny hunting. Then, while grinding for happiness, I left my 3ds on overnight and forgot to plug it into the charger and I forgot to save, so Skrelp was gone by the morning. I caught another one later, but it just wasn't the same... rip Skrelp

My first shiny was a Froakie. Took me a lot of soft resetts to get it, I started to scream in joy when I got it XD

First Shiny not including the Gyrados in the Lake of Rage was a Zubat on a ROM of Emerald. I hatched a Shiny Meowth on my copy of Emerald and not the ROM which was my first Shiny in an actual game that wasn't preset.

My first shiny was a Kricketune in Pokemon Pearl. Once I saw the shiny form I understood that it was based on the golden cricket.

I think my first shiny was a Tentacool in Sapphire or Ruby, a long time ago. No longer have that save. D:

First non-Red Gyarados shiny I caught was a Lunatone in Black... I nearly hit the roof considering I've been playing since Gen 1 and have zero luck with shinies. The only one I'd ever encountered before that was a Hariyama in Sapphire which of course used Whirlwind, and the only one I've ever caught since was a Wobbuffet at the Friend Safari.

As long as you didn't use cheat codes, then it's your first shiny.

I remember I found a shiny Koffing in the Burnt Tower in gold but I couldn't catch it or I killed it, can't remember which first one I caught besides from Gyarados was a shiny Seaking in LG in the safari zone. Caught quite a few since then but never had the patience to breed for a shiny. My fav is probably my shiny Geodude which I caught in diamond, named him Nugget and he's currently in AS now!

almost wondertraded a shiny anorinth away when egghatching for trading before realising it was a shiny and smothered the power button till my 3ds blanked out. luckily it was still there! also accidentally hatching a shiny hoppip once?

Somebody gave her to me a few days ago and I evolved it into Tyrannitar. I am still thinking what the best name dor her could be, even though I can't name her in-game.

I think you mean Tyrantum. Larvitar is the one to evolve into Tyranitar.
