Distinguishing Physical Features : 2 marks [a 6 digit number imprinted on his left arm and a Phoenix tatoo on his back].

Personality: Josh is strong willed and empathic, feeling that his friends are important people, without he would not have survived the strange and frightening ordeals. He can snap sometimes and become quite angry, especially if someone is mean to him. Despite E.S.P leaving him slightly fragile, Josh is quite a strong battler.

History

Josh was adopted into a wealthy family outside of Goldenrod City in the Johto Region. Before Josh was adopted, he was tested on, one of the many [and only] Humans that survived the harsh testing. When a Corparation fused both a Powerful Pokemon and part of Josh's psyche, it created a Dual Personality: The Josh that was normally in control and ESP : An instinctual being of rage, power and destruction with Psionic Powers.

When he was adopted, his parents quickly hired a psychologist after odd behaviour including mood swings and death threats. After thinking Josh was 'better', his parents sent him to boarding school. After a week, the strange behaviour kicked in when 3 boys who tried to harm Josh ended up being crushed by a Juggernaut against a tree, barely surviving. His parents finally turned back to the psychologists and funded a new drug which turned out to be a massive success; it was able to 'cage' the multiple personality's which haunted a person. Josh was one of the first to take it and E.S.P was caged...

After Several years, Josh was finally mentally stable, and was given a Pokemon: an Eevee. Josh and Eevee developed a close bond and after Eevee evolved into an Espeon, they developed a Telepathic bond that allowed them to understand each others thoughts.

On Josh's 14th Birthday, A Tyranitair went on rampage,  destroying buildings and Josh's family home, apparently killing his parents. Josh escaped his home and after some travlling around the Kanto region for a new life, met Kristian, Jordan, Nazar and Aedan: Four traiiners who seeked out the Gym Leaders. Josh followed the group around Cinnabar and joined them when they entered the One Island Volcano and has since then, been travelling around with them.

Josh spent a long time with them and went through what some people go through in a lifetime: ESP was unleashed yet again and escaped Josh's body, an evil organisation called THE MANAGEMENT attacked the group on several occasions. After the group parted ways, Josh joined 'Search For Suspicion', a group dedicated to tracking The MANAGEMENT and Josh became a PHQ member when they battled for custody of the Lavender Tower.

After a teleport went wrong, Josh left for the boat to Sinnoh, which landed in Canalve City to start his own quest, catching his first Sinnoh Pokemon, Gastrodon.This was cut short when he found Xander from his old travelling group again, and Zenno from his old team, as well as newbie Tyra. Josh met in with ESP again and was stolen from his body and trapped in ESP's mind. While that was going on, ESP posed as 'Jeordie White' in an attempt to steal PHQ secrets. He was found out and in revenge for hurting Josh yet again, Espeon disintagrated ESP and destroyed his mind, killing him. Josh is now back with the group in his own body.

Josh battled Gardenia with Xander Blake and lost, but rematched her later and managed to win. After finding out some of Aura's history, Josh intended to help her locate where strange Telepathic emissions were coming from, but was teleported by a Rotom after watching the TV in the Pokemon Center and has found his friend Kristian.

After leaving Kristian and his friends, Josh felt immense pressure and left for Hoenn, where he hoped to recover for a few weeks. Meeting another boy, Josh travelled to Mauville, before leaving to Verdanturf to take part in Pokemon Contests and has not been heard from since...

Pokemon on Team:

Espeon [Female]
[Synchronize]
Attacks: Reflect, Barrier, Psychic, Calm Mind, Confusion, Psybeam, Hyper Beam, Sunny Day, Morning Sun, Last Resort.
History/Notes: Josh's first Pokemon. Josh received Espeon as an Eevee, a present from his Aunt Vee. Josh and Eevee had a huge bond, always taking each other with them wherever they went. After a year, Eevee evolved into Espeon, and a Telepatchic Link was created, allowing them to talk via thought and understand each others speech. Espeon has been with Josh through hard and challenging times: When his Parents 'died', when ESP took over...Each of these events have just made Josh and Espeon come closer and closer, forming a bond that can never be broken. Espeon was one of the Psychic Pokemon badly affected by the psychic attacks but is back on Josh's team now. After mastering psychic strength of Psychic 5, Espeon stayed with Proffeser Rowan before escaping and killing ESP. She is back with Josh.



Dusknoir: [Male]

Attacks: Shadow Ball, Confuse Ray, Ice Beam, Thunderpunch, Night Shade, Pursuit, Faint Attack, Gravity, Shadow Punch and Mean Look.
History/Notes: Dusclops was given to Josh when it was just a Duskull by a Trainer named Andrew. Since then it has managed to defeat an array of different Pokemon. When Duskull fought Misty's Gyarados, it was swallowed but defeated it and evolved. It evolved once more during a rigorous training period in Verdanturf.

Drifloon [Female]

History/Notes: Drifloon was originally ESP's Pokemon before he was destroyed and now resides with Josh. He loves to inhale and exhale air and is quite playful.

Milotic [Female]

Attacks: Water Pulse, Tackle, Flail, Rain Dance, Water Gun, Water Pulse, Surf, Twister and Captivate.
History : Feebas was bought off of a Pokemon Dealer in the Psychic Festival. It is overall, The weakest of Josh's Pokemon, but it managed to defeat Misty's Milotic, when Feebas was struck by a Thunderbolt attack. It evolved into a Milotic before Josh's first contest and has become an extremely powerful Pokemon, though it prefers contests to battles.

Octillery [Male]

Attacks: Ice Beam, Octazooka, Aurora Beam, Lock-On.
History/Notes : Octillery was caught trying to drown Josh's Lapras, just after landing on the One Island Volcan Summit. He quickly captured it and it became a powerful part of his team, possibly even the strongest. But with Gastrodon as his main Water Pokemon, Josh has not used Octillery as much as he should. Octillery is quite a serious Pokemon, who normally likes to get straight to battling.

Lapras [Female]

Attacks: Ice Beam, Surf, Water Pulse, Confuse Ray, Sing, Psychic, Calm Mind, Perish Song.
History/Notes: Lapras originally belonged to Aunt Vee, a succesful Pokemon Breeder on the outskirts of Celadon. After visiting her Ranch, they were attacked by Men dressed in Business suits, confirmed to be Team Rocket. She gave Josh Lapras, to travel across the water, a useful ferry for Josh and 2 people/Pokemon. Lapras has been used few times too, but its most notable was when it helped secure a win against Blaine's Moltres by using Perish Song, which incidentally, only cut its HP.

History/Notes: While on the way to Mauville, a tree collapsed and Cherubi was the only one left. Its parents had ran off so Josh took her in, since she would die if she was left on her own. She cries quite a lot and is an attention seeker.

[Previous History: A quirky frog-like Pokemon that Kristian got in the Great Marsh. It trained with Wake while the gang stayed in Pastoria. It took a quick liking to Kristian and the rest of the team, although can get a little hyper, and sometimes seems out of it. It's almost become the patsy for Bonnie and Clyde.] Poliwhirl has not been used with Josh yet as Josh has not checked the GTS in a while.

History/Notes: Nosepass was obtained from a trade with Zenno. Not much is known about Nosepass.


Machamp AkA Hokey  [Male]

Attacks: Cross chop, Earthquake, Bulk Up, Body slam
History/Notes: Hokey was traded by utilising the GTS, a Global Trade System where Trainers from all regions can post a Pokemon and trade it for something they want (see Discussion for more details). Not much is known about Hokey, apart from the fact that he is strong, capable of lifting up a 2 Story Building if necessary. Hokey is also a slight show-off and will do anything for Attention.

Persian [Male]

Attacks: Scratch, Cut, Slash, Thunderbolt, Assist, Faint Attack, Fake Out, Screech and Pay Day.
History/Notes: Persian was found as a wild Meowth around Route 1, when Josh met Xander after being mystically teleported. After a Full-Months training, it was revealed that Meowth knew both Assist and Thunderbolt, 2 Rare moves. Meowth also evolved into Persian too. Its most notable appearences is in races, normally because of its Strength and Speed tactic and since Josh is so light, he can ride on Persians back, who is also incidentally quite large. As seen in 'Psychic Showdown!' Persian's Assist can allow Self-propelled flight.

Skitty: [Female] 

[Cute Charm]
Attacks: Charm, Tackle, Sing and Doubleslap.
History/Notes: Skitty was found in the Cerulean Pokemon Center, when Josh saw 7 Pokeballs instead of 6 (with Lapras now in the PC), Skitty is a playful creature, who likes to charm people by purring or crying. Skitty is also an attention seeker and slightly spoilt.
