Title: Nintendo Switch

So I know it's a bit premature, but I'm really excited for this. It was hinted to be a hybrid portable console a while back but I didn't really follow the rumours so much, but the NX, now known as the Switch (presumably because it can switch between console and handheld) will (hopefully) be landing March 2017.


Thoughts?

I thought it was a tricked out wii-u at first, but once I saw the sides expand, the tablet pop in and the game transferred to the tablet screen, I went on a giant string of excited profanities that would've made a Drill Sargent proud.

some unconfirmed news about the switch - for those of us who have amassed wii u and 3ds titles, the switch is not backwards compatible (http://uk.ign.com/articles/2016/10/24/nintendo-switch-not-backwards-compatible-with-physical-3ds-or-wii-u-games)

obviously until nintendo themselves actually says yes or no, take this with a pinch of salt.
