Random Randomness / Re: first world problems

I tried to make a positive step in my life today... but after a series of comments by my friends, I had 2 full-on panic attacks, hurt the cartilage in my throat from severe sobbing fits, and may or may not have lost half of my friend group.

Can we get a do-over today?

Granted, but you now have to pay your medical bills, and you just got cancer.

HAAAAAAAAAA I have appendicitis last month and I got a huge bill for that already :')

Granted, but now your computer can only display things that make your grandma cry.

I wish for a raise.

Granted! However, now it runs on tears. You must cry for your wifi.

I wish wasn't in debt from student loans :3c

I have a job in animation, but the longer I sit and think about it the more I want to go back to medical school... but that means more loans to pay off.

UGH.

nearly fainted and all i was doing was walking up the stairs :')

!!!!! Fainting is bad D8

Do you have the medical insurance to investigate further? Fainting is NOT GOOD, and while we barely know each other I'm still worried :c

Tachycardia is a condition, not just a symptom. If it's been happening for years, it could be the potential culprit. It's been happening for 7-8 years, right? Tachycardia has a higher chance of developing in your teens, usually around a growth spurt. Your heart rate speeds up when your body and organs grow in order to adapt, but sometimes it doesn't slow down or adapts poorly to the new size due to overactive/underactive/irregular electrical impulses.

I can talk about this all day, but you won't get a proper confirmation unless you go to a doctor.

Not like the last one, though. You need a competent doctor and I don't have any relatives in the UK.

With all of these aces, all I can think of is that gif I found on tumblr once: a girl is trying to flirt with a guy, and he pulls out his Pokemon trading card collection like "I HAVE FIVE CHARIZARDS".

More secrets? I'm lactose intolerant, but apparently only a little bit??? I can still drink coffee with regular milk, and I can still eat a cupcake, but I cannot have coffee with milk and a cupcake. I can either have the coffee or the cupcake- both means an unhappy tummy. I can still eat cheese and yogurt, though. (Both have less lactose than milk)

My family has lots of doctors, and I even went to medical school for a while before switching to animation, so it goes without saying that when people dismiss medicine and doctors - despite having ZERO medical experience for all their barking *COUGHantivaxxersCOUGH* - it makes me mad.

There are concerns about the medical field such as over medicating, doctors over prescribing, and etc., which I understand, but the people who refuse tried and true medicine because "oh it has mercury in it!" or "oh I can't pronounce this chemical- it's not natural!" are just plain stupid. And hurting other people, which I cannot stand in the least.

I couldn't sleep after reading an article. That's my first world problem: losing sleep out of pure unadultered rage.

Read an article about a woman who refused to provide medical care for her 3 kids with whooping cough for 150 days- all because she wanted to find a 'natural' remedy.

I want to wring this woman's neck?? If a few weeks of whooping cough can give someone permanent lung damage, how broken are those poor children's lungs? How brittle are their ribs now? Their throats must be raw from all of the throwing up and fits of coughing! And this woman ACTIVELY REFUSED them medical care??? For one HUNDRED and FIFTY days??? And in this article, with direct quotes from this woman's blog, all she could think about was "how nobody believed in her".

Unacceptable. She should not have custody over those kids. Refusing medical care is abuse! These kids were barely 10, too! They didn't have the knowledge or the power to refuse their mother's idiocy and seek help for themselves! Their opinion on the matter wasn't taken, and no consent was given- they were forced to suffer.

It makes me SO MAD. SO. MAD.

I've never really cared about relationships because I'm not interested in the sexual aspect.

Are you a/demi/greysexual? If so, YAY FELLOW ACE :D

I am fiercely protective of my friends, and I have high standards for how people treat them, but I can never defend myself or give myself those standards. The best way I can describe it is with that comic I've seen floating about tumblr that's like:

Person A: Ur ugly
Person B: ... Eh, whatever *bemused shrug*
Person A: And ur friend is ugly too.
Person B: -silence-
Last panel: -person B mercilessly slapping person A across the face-

Weakness Policy Drifblim.

Stockpile for def & sp.def and Minimize for evasion. Try to Taunt? Ominous Wind, with a chance to boost ALL stats. Try to KO? Weakness Policy activates, and OOPS ya boosted it again. Ya also activated Unburden - SUCKS TO BE YOU.

Once Drifblim's had her fun, Baton Pass out (because she's faster than most Pokemon after Unburden and an activated Ominous Wind) and pass her boosts over to anyone. Whoever I switch into has, without an activated Ominous Wind, +2 atk, +3 def, +2 sp.atk, and +3 sp.def right off the bat. Imagine a Mega Charizard Y switching into those stats, or a Snorlax, or a Cradily, or even an uber like Aegislash or Mega Salamence.

I adore my Drifblim. After all those boosts, she conquers the battlefield ~

I have mild-moderate OCD, but it's mostly isolated to my personal spaces and things. I also have severe anxiety, severe depression, PTSD, and body dysmorphic disorder.

It's caused issues in relationships before, but only the people worthy of being with weren't complete butts about it.

Only food/drink that I've had since 10pm on the 31st is apple juice.

I thought this pain in my side was from my period, but i went to the doctor on a whim for pain medication and they were like "WOW ur appendix is, like, totes about to burst- ur going to the OR"

So i had my appendix taken put 12 hours ago with a laparoscopy :)

Laparoscopy means instead of cutting me open like a fish they use 3 small holes instead, and to do that operation they had to pump CO2 into my belly, and only now is the gas moving and escaping. Lots of toots ensued.
