I managed to use the scroll saw (see first world problems) I just used a thinner piece of wood. Though slightly nervous, I did it!

congrats, i just about got on with the scroll saws in one of the few schools i got to go to that actually had a woodshop. they're scary things

bandsaws and table saws are still The Worst Ever tho and i know at some point in my amateurish Woodwork Catch Up mission in adult life that im gonna have to use one and im not looking forward to it. cant they just have Safety Power Tools made out of plastic???????????

I was desperate not to use the scroll saw. I suggested using one of those saws that could cut off your finger! Obviously the answer was no!

I complained about this delivery man I kept getting and now they've sent a different one!

Not being funny, but if you're going to deliver to a house on the wrong street to meet your estimated delivery time, you deserve a bollocking tbh.

It's like finishing a written report for your English Lit lecturer at uni but handing it in to an Engineering lecturer because he's closer and you'll hand it in on time.

Why does an engineering lecturer care about the writing style of Pride and Prejudice?

 They don't.

bernie sanders won my state by like 21 points over Hillary, so waking up and reading that pretty much made my day

donald trump also beat other republicans by a similar margin but lets not talk about that...

I won every single one of my round robin games in ping pong for my gym class, then won the tournament without dropping a game.

I've successfully animated two scene for yes sir, I will boogie alone. One where two goons attack Nidorina, they hit her, she pulls a carpet out from under their feet making them fall over ("say hello to my two friends! Mr gravity and Mr concrete!") They try to attack her again, but Nidorina grabs them and chucks them out.

The next night, they try again (they have axes this time!) They find a NIdoking inside that towers over them. It asks if they are the ones who have been attacking Nidorina. One of them says no, and asks if he has a sausage roll. The NIdoking replies "yes! I have one! How about I ram it down your throat?!" (Sophisticated, well-hidden dirty joke there!) It yanks the axe out of his hands and snaps it in two. The other guy drops his axe and runs away.

The NIdoking is Nidorina's cousin, who she wrote to for help.

Volunteering was pretty fun and we cleaned everything out so I started tagging, sizing, and hanging everything then I was like "whoa, I don't think she said to do this, I wasn't paying attention" so I just left because I'm awful at sizing women's clothing since one top will be size 16 then the next is just "large" so I'm like wth? I can't size clothing by sight anyway. I had also worked 30 minutes over my shift time.

Also helping a friend with what seems to be depression? She seems to be going through what I went through yonks ago so it's nice to give some real advice but I just want to hug her and pour puppies over her and hope she's not allergic to dogs.

 It's nice to help.

I wrote an article about the corrupt chair of the Democratic National Committee and pledged to donate all of my ad revenue to Bernie Sanders, and it currently has over 1,500 people talking about my article, and I've raised about 25 dollars in just 3 hours! Feels good!

shameless plug here it is
