Walsall beat Pompey today, and since a friend at uni is an absolute die-hard Pompey supporter I should feel smug, but I don't.

I mean, beating a team hastily cobbled together from deadline day rejects isn't exactly an achievement, is it?

I still feel really sorry for Pompey. Screwed over by Redknapp left to die, they'd do well to avoid relegation into League 2 this season. They still haven't had the 10 points deducted yet, because they're still in administration.
hahahahahahaha

Got the FIFA thread up

I don't expect much discussion yet but when FIFA13 comes out we can takeover the Gaming board =P

Agreed. If anyone is NOT at fault it's the fans. If anything, they're doing the most to try and save the club, and because of the screwing by different owners they're skeptical of anyone buying the club.

I think Pompey is best left in the hands of the fans, same way Barcelona is run by the fans. Because let's face it, Pompey fans are bloody dedicated.

Missed much of the second half of the united game, but did anyone actually see the amount of time Welbeck dived?

Odemwingie did come out and explain and apologise his action, but he shouldn't have done that.

Also, some insane goals yesterday, including that absolute screamer from one of the Burton Albion's players.

Also, Mancini saying Crouch handballed...as if, it was belted against his arm by a defender, so it was more ball-arm. Slightly suspicious.

Finally, 6-1 Arsenal.

Nah, Crouch was playing basketball mate.

Still, Crouch is a LAD, gotta love him.

Crouch's arm movements makes it handball but even then City deserved to concede because they didn't play to the whistle. Awful defending

EDIT: You know how they did edits to Balotelli's Italy goal celebration? They've done some for Podolski's now too; if no one else finds them I'll link later if I refind them!

EDIT: Here some of them are:

Jay showed me this one just too so I thought I'd add it in!

^Brilliant.

Tottenham beat Reading 3-1, so...some of the new teams aren't starting off well.

Everton 2-2 Newcastle

Fantastic game, marred with controversy though. We're lucky to draw, could easily have been 4-2 Everton (or even 3-2 us tbh). Best game so far this season I'd say!

Football quote of the day:

Deon Dublin, Robbie Savage and the Irish dude from MOTD2 are looking at the UCL groups:

Savage: Man United should breeze through that group, just like they did last year...
