I got into uni!
Could have found out on Tuesday but ucas was down until yesterday morning lol.
Applied for my flat and started buying some of the stuff I'll need, exciting things like pans and bedding haha. Excited but also terrified :')

Was fun, though.

Unexpected money issues leaves us with almost no money and a car extremely low on gas. Luckily I had the idea to get some from the gas cans we usually fill with gasoline to use for the mower, and since it's the same stuff and we get decent mpg on the car, that should hold us until the next pay hits.

Squatted 50kg for the first time since my trip to snap city. I'm going to progress naturally and start squatting 45kg for a week or two since I felt tension in my lower back and although I could lift the weight, I didn't feel confident that I could do it in the correct form.

I always told my boss at my coffee shop job sunday mornings were the only time I will not work. She scheduled me for two sundays in a row. My bet is I won't hear back from her, I'll work my saturdays, I won't come in for my sundays, and then we'll see what happens with the schedule next week _/o\_ I'm keeping all in writing so if I magically disappear from the schedule I'll let HR know. Whatever, told her, that's the accomplishment.

Good stuff. I can relate to this. Hopefully there won't be any drama

I just got an e-mail telling me I was put on my universities equivalent of the honour-roll. How did this even happen?!

Right? I really really wanted to tell her "It's not my job to solve your incompetence, sorry, figure it out." It took a lot of drafting for me to work out exactly what to say to her without being too rude.

so far so good though

today i got a response back from my second professor for the study abroad who i was really worried i wouldn't hear from-- she really really loved me as a student, so her recommendation was important. i also did my class schedule for italy, and now i just need to see my advisor and get her to sign off on some stuff... then i just wait for my official news til october B)

I defeated Revan in Star Wars The Old Republic with help from someone in my guild. I've wanted to fight him for ages.

I made about $16 in tips tonight at my seafood shack job today! That's pretty good considering we make minimum wage (which sucks but that's any low skill job in NH), and I usually take home like $10 in tips on friday nights. It was also my first totally solo shift, so I'm glad I kept it together well enough to do so well :)

for reference... last wednesday me and my coworker got $1 each in tips.
