whether it be radio, tv, espn, abc (sorry, dunno what tv channels have sports in europe xP), we all have that one person that talks about sports that you really like.

who is it?????

mine is probably dan le batard (dahe hosts the dan le batard show on espnradio nd highly questionable on espn2) along with his dad, who does a tv show with him. theyre both quite humorous and find ways to make sports really funny!

what about you?

I hate all sports analysts actually, but I remember loving them as players.  They're being paid to be talking heads, and they provide incredibly generic advice to teams such as "establish the run game" "keep them from scoring" "keep them from making plays."  If only it were that easy huh!

For commentators, Jon Gruden is great.

I don't really pay attention to the names, just they're saying tbh.

David Coulthard is fabulous because he knows what he's talking about, he's unbiased and he's funny.

Suzi Perry needs to take a leaf out of DC's book.

I agree with this completely. Also Carra. Those two together make MNF.

^Aye I was a bit unsure of Carra at first but the banter between them two is just gold. Love it.

Carragher's kinda funny but he's a tool.

As much as I hated Neville he makes a very good analysist, biased on the very rare occasion which isn't bad at all. Do love David Ginola's swag too.

I always preferred Martin Brundle to be honest. Plus, Suzi Perry is a biker, so doesn't know much about F1. She's still a good pick for the job. Because she loves the sport and lets Eddie Jordan and DC do all the talking. Problem is, DC has no personality whatsoever.

Alan Hansen, Chris Kamara (UNBELIEVABLE!), Charlie Nicholas, Martin Brundle, Matt Le Tissier are my picks.

I tell you who ISN'T however: Paul Franks. "Franksy" is a sports presenter for BBC WM who is so biased towards Wolverhampton Wanderers it's not even funny anymore. Even though he's SUPPOSED to be a West Bromwich fan. He's a football fan who thinks he's an expert and some sort of local legend, but he's completely the opposite. Pete Morgan is the local legend and Franks just needs to get off the radio. Him and his boyfriend Steve Frogatt.

I definitely disagree on DC having no personality. Maybe when he's commentating but I think he has plenty of personality!
don't mention that you find him really attractive
He's also rather attractive

I do admit that Suzi loves the sport but we don't get any proper lads banter that we had when Jake Humphries was still around.

We don't talk about Brundle anymore because he's a traitor to the beeb

Hansen Milsap? He sucks lol and not in the entertaining Kammy or Paul Merson way
Cubehead's alright on the F1 but Brundle is much much better

Le Tissier is very underrated, he really knows his stuff

He knows what he's talking about. Rather him than Garth "I love Man United so much I won't stop kissing their arse" Crooks.

He knows what he's talking about.

Not really, at times he's too pro-Liverpool (although I'm not completely anti-bias because it's human nature to have it) and he's way too stubborn to admit when he's wrong. Plus as the years have gone on he's got progressively worse. He tries to be edgy at times but tbh Robbie Savage does that much better than he does these days.

Rather him than Garth "I love Man United so much I won't stop kissing their arse" Crooks.

That's because Garth Crooks is without doubt the worst pundit of all time. Not due to any bias but because he has no idea what he's talking about, he doesn't do research ahead of the games (which is what you need to do) and says some things that are just stupid.

Hah the latter is quite funny yeah.

totally surprised no-one has mentioned Jeff Stelling Well, he's more presenter than analyst but oh well.

Jeff is a fantastic host (wouldn't even say presenter due to the nature of Sky Sports News) but yeah, he's not really an analyst. He's also a great example of why bias isn't always a bad thing haha
