Music / Remembering Chester Bennington - One year on
« Last post by Petzbreeder on Today at 09:30 »
Today is the first anniversary of Chester Bennington's death.

How did his death affect you? Has Linkin Park ever inspired you in any way?

Linkin Park is the reason why I can rap. I always admired Chester Bennington because my vocal range is similar to what his was.

I've tried playing What I've Done on my keyboard once. I wasn't very good at it. Maybe I should practice playing it again.

Happy Birthday Claire! It's kind of freaking crazy how long it's been since we all started man, and I'm glad you're still around. Hope to see you (and xhanatos) around on Discord.

It's how Brexit and the 2016 American elections were sold. Anyone can post anything regardless of the facts and people will believe it.

Younger generations aren't willing to double check anything anymore.
I'll be honest, neither do a lot of older generations. Any bull can come on your FB dash and I've seen just as many people twice or three times my age falling for it, even if it sounds ridicuclous

Things I'll never say - Avril Lavigne

If I could say what I wanna say
I'd say I wanna blow you........ away!

The only reason why Avril added away to the end of that line is because kids listen to the song.
I think we all know what Avril really wants!

The Rembrandts: I'll be there for you.

"You're still in bed at ten and work began at eight
You burned your breakfast so far things are going great"

Who the hell cooks breakfast when they're two hours late for work!?

"Your mother warned you there'd be days like these"

But isn't the first line of the song "So no one told you life was going to be this way"?

Stupid song.

The taxi driver awkwardly told me off because I had supposedly slammed the door whilst getting in and maybe it's just me but it's such a petty thing to cause a fuss over when I didn't even slam the door.

Social media is winding me up a bit again too. Facebook is the worst offender because it's a platform that anyone can use to preach to the masses no matter how disturbed and unhealthy their message is. It's just worrying that the younger generations are being exposed to this kind of stuff.
