...And my profile is now boring. Thanks Photobucket. ¬.¬;;

Ahem. After its brief theatrical release in the UK last month, Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You! is coming to the small screen this year and next. According to my Sky TV Guide, CiTV are showing the film on Friday 8th December 2017 at 4pm and are repeating it on Saturday 9th December 2017 at 9:25am. Which is great for those of us who didn't really fancy going to the cinema. -coughs innocently- As well as that, Amazon UK are listing its DVD release date as 12th February 2018 and its Blu-ray Steelbook release date as 30th April 2018. Given how previous Pokemon films of late have actually come out on their release date and are available from a wide range of retailers, catching a copy should be easy enough. XP

2
So... I'm not watching much Anime at the moment. >.>;; For a while I haven't really been checking UK release schedules as I haven't been anticipating any releases I'm remotely interested in. -shrugs apathetically- As such... I completely missed this announcement and frankly have no idea when it was made. ._.;; ... Ahem. Manga Entertainment are releasing Pokemon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel on DVD and Blu-ray in the UK on Monday 15th May 2017. Amazon UK have a pre-order page up already but the DVD at least ought to be available in lots of different retailers. I personally bought their previous release of Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages at HMV and I'm sure I saw it at ASDA too.

Incase anyone was wondering, Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel has been passed by the BBFC (DVDs can't be released in the UK without a BBFC age rating, I believe~). Combine that with the fact it is being released by Manga Entertainment (who release lots of Anime DVDs here)... and I'm reasonably confident that this is actually coming out. Confident enough not to put a question mark in the topic's title anyway. XP Yay.

... So, yeah. I wasn't actually going to bother starting this topic as I have zero interest in watching Pokemon the Series: Sun and Moon and frankly the scheduling for the new episodes isn't particularly consistent. But I thought I'd better, so here goes.

According to my Sky TV Guide, CiTV are showing the first episode of Pokemon the Series: Sun and Moon (Alola to New Adventure!) on Tuesday 11th April 2017 at 7:25am (with a later repeat at 6pm). They are then showing the second episode (The Guardian's Challenge!) on Wednesday 12th April 2017 at 7:25am (with a later repeat at 6pm) and the third episode (Loading the Dex) on Thursday 13th April 2017 at 7:25am (presumably with a repeat at 6pm but at the time of writing my TV Guide doesn't go that far~). Ordinarily I would say that presumably these (bad) broadcast times would continue (as prior to showing Sun and Moon they were repeating XYZ in that slot)... but I can't. According to CiTV's Twitter account:

Quote
We're airing new eps in small bursts around school holidays as they come through, but weekly on a Sat to keep your Pokémon fix going!

Like I said, not particularly consistent. Sigh. All Pokemon episodes broadcast by CiTV are available on the ITV Player for a while afterwards though so that's... something. I guess. As the topic's title suggests, they're also repeating Pokemon Movie 19: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel on Saturday 8th April at 9:25am for anyone who hasn't managed to catch it yet. Personally... I'm done with the Pokemon anime. 'Never thought that I would say that but after 18 years... yeah. I'm done. The style of the Sun and Moon anime is just not my thing. ... Although the next Pokemon movie does look good. >.>;; Edit: And now it doesn't. -prods lack of Misty/Brock-

---

Edit: Just an update on the scheduling situation. >.>;; On Friday 14th April 2017, CiTV are showing the fourth episode of Pokemon the Series: Sun and Moon (First Catch In Alola, Ketchum-Style!) at 7:25am (with a later repeat at 6pm). On the subject of weekend slots, CiTV ARE showing the first episode of Pokemon the Series: Sun and Moon on Saturday 15th April 2017 at 9:55am (with a later repeat at 6pm). Presumably once the Easter Holiday/Half Term morning slots finish, that'll be where the new episodes will be shown in future. My listings make no mention of Pokemon being shown on Monday 17th April 2017 but that doesn't mean the morning slots won't continue on Tuesday, etc. So basically, if you want to watch it on weekdays you'll have to keep an eye on it. >.>;;

Yeah, I'm not happy with the Topic's title. I mean... I think this is Pokemon's 19th Movie but since they (understandably) dropped sticking numbers on the titles some years ago I've, frankly, lost track. >.>;; Also, I'm hoping this is a preview of Pokemon the Series: Sun and Moon seeing as it's following the format of what happened last time with Pokemon the Series: XY... and CiTV haven't exactly shown the end of XYZ yet. I'm behind but I believe we're still in the middle of the League Championships. -prods- So, yeah. -_-;; Anyway...

According to my Sky TV Guide, on Saturday 19th November 2016 at 12:30pm CiTV are to premiere Pokemon Movie 19: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel. Which isn't a mouthful at all. =P There is no repeat slot mentioned at the time of writing but it probably will be shown again at some point as CiTV have been showing/reshowing a lot of Pokemon Movies this year. (I didn't start a topic to mention that fact as I'm pretty sure all of them had been shown by CiTV at some point in the past and if not they were definitely shown by the likes of Cartoon Network and even BBC Two. Long story short, CiTV generally showed a Movie to coincide with the Wi-Fi distribution of a Mythical Pokemon and even showed the odd random one too. I think they showed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 18th... but I didn't really pay much attention. Sigh. >.>;;) If not repeated on the TV, it ought to be viewable on the ITV Player for a month afterwards. -prods-

On Sunday 20th November 2016, CiTV are previewing the opening episodes of Pokemon the Series: Sun and Moon. At 12pm they will be showing "Alola to New Adventure!" and at 12:30pm they will be showing "The Guardian's Challenge!". ...Or at least, I assume these are the opening episodes of the Sun and Moon anime as I haven't bothered to check the titles elsewhere myself. Truthfully, I have never been less excited about the premiere of a new season of Pokemon... ever. I did a pretty good job of putting myself off the Hoenn region/Pokemon Advanced thanks to my loyalty to Misty/Brock but... with everything that's happened to the Pokemon anime since the actual departure of Brock in the Sinnoh region, I just feel like what I've read about Sun and Moon might be the final nail in the coffin for me. I've been following the show for 17 years (urk...) but I think I might be actually done this time, as it were. ._.;;

So, yeah. I'm going to watch the preview (I usually skip them) and make my decision but... yeah. I'm irked right now. ¬.¬;;

Recently - and probably to coincide with Pokemon's 20th Anniversary Year - CiTV have been showing a lot of Pokemon. =P They showed Pokemon the First Movie and Pokemon the Movie 2000 a few weeks ago (with the latter still available on the iTV Player to watch at the time of writing) but I didn't see the point in posting about it as the BBC has broadcast both of those films in the past. -shrugs- Indeed according to my Sky TV Guide, CiTV are repeating Pokemon the Movie 18: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages at 9:25am on Saturday 8th April 2016 followed by Pokemon Mega Evolution Special: Episode One at 11:00am and Pokemon Mega Evolution Special: Episode Two at 11:30am. The next day, Sunday 9th April 2016, they are then repeating Pokemon the Third Movie at 9:25am. -prods-

As well as all of that though, they are showing the first episode of Pokemon the Series: XYZ (From A to Z!) at 12pm (with a later repeat at 6pm) on Saturday 8th April 2016. I have no idea if the broadcast times are set in stone for future episodes but even though they aren't particularly convenient for me, the fact that they're showing them twice is definitely a good thing. ^^;; On Sunday 9th April 2016, CiTV are then showing a "new" Pokemon Mega Evolution special that lasts for 55 minutes at 11:00am. It has a pretty generic description but presumably since they have yet to show either Episode Three or Episode Four, they must have decided to show them back to back in one slot. >.>;; -prods- No repeat of that is mentioned but everything ought to be available on iTV Player for a while afterwards anyway. Yay.

---

Edit: So... I spotted some repeat slots for the Mega Evolution Special, this time split into the two episodes it contained. ^^;; Pokemon Mega Evolution Special: Episode Three will (presumably, inspite of its generic description on Sky's TV Guide) be repeated on Wednesday 13th April 2016 at 7:50am and 6:00pm whilst Pokemon Mega Evolution Special: Episode Four will (again, presumably as it has a generic description) be repeated on Thursday 14th April 2016 at 7:50am and 6:00pm. Interestingly, the first episode of Pokemon the Series: XYZ, From A to Z, is set to be repeated on the Friday at 7:50am and 6:00pm too. As for the next new episode, Love Strikes! Eevee, Yikes!, it is set to be on on Saturday at both 12:00pm and 6:00pm... so I guess those are the slots for the foreseeable future. ^^;;

... I was going to post this on Sunday but my electricity was dipping thanks to Storm Desmond. Bleurk. >.<;;

Anyway... according to my Sky TV Guide, on Saturday 12th December 2015 at 9:25am CiTV are to premiere Pokemon Movie 18: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages. For me, it is showing up under Sky+'s Search Functionality as "Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages"... however (for reasons I have yet to fully grasp) not all of CiTV's Pokemon listings are popping up when you search for "Pokemon". Although the Movie and the latest episode of Pokemon the Series: XY - Kalos Quest (to be shown on Thursday~) show up, their repeats of Pokemon the Series: XY (broadcast on weekdays at 6:55am... I think~) don't. Which is weird. O.o No repeat listings for Pokemon Movie 18 are available at this time however it seems that it is being shown as part of their "Movie Club" event, and other Movie Club films have been repeated on the following Friday afternoon. -prods-

There is no mention either of CiTV showing Pokemon Movie 18's prequel - Hoopa, The Mischief Pokemon - unlike in America where they seem to be being broadcast together but it is apparently available on the Pokemon.com website. Although I haven't tried it... Pokemon.com doesn't exactly work particularly well on my Computer. Sigh. -_-;;

---

Edit: Yeah, CiTV are repeating "Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages" on Friday 18th December 2015 at 4:15pm. ^^;; -prods- Still no mention of the prequel Hoopa, The Mischief Pokemon though.

7
So, according to my Sky TV Guide... on Saturday 18th July 2015, CiTV are to premiere Pokemon: Mega Evolution Special (Episode 1) at 8:30am and then Pokemon: Mega Evolution Special (Episode 2) at 9:00am. As of me typing this out, there is no mention of the third special being broadcast and there is no mention of any repeat showing (although since this broadcast has been timed to coincide with the starting of the Summer Holidays, I assume one will be forthcoming... XP). Straight afterwards, CiTV are showing the four Pokemon Origins specials back-to-back (at 9:25am for Episode One, 9:50am for Episode Two, 10:15am for Episode Three and 10:45am for Episode Four~). ... I have no idea if Episode One will contain the scene that mysteriously disappeared when it was premiered in May 2014. =P Personally... I hope the Mega Evolution Specials are repeated at a friendlier time. ^^;;

---

Edit [21st July 2015]: Still no news on whether CiTV are set to repeat the Pokemon: Mega Evolution Specials Episodes One and Two at a better time (although if you missed them and are able to use the iTV Player, then they will be available there for a few weeks)... but on Monday 27th July 2015, it looks like CiTV are set to show Pokemon: Mega Evolution Special (Episode 3) at 5:00pm. I say "looks like" as technically it is listed as Pokemon the Series: XY (The Strongest Mega Evolution: Act III). >.>;; However, that is the Japanese name of the Special so I'm assuming that is what they are showing. -prods- (CiTV have form for this; sometimes on the episode descriptions that appear on my Sky TV Guide, they will list the Japanese names of the Characters and last week or so I'm sure they mistakenly stated that they were going to show "Ash and May! Heated Battles In Hoenn!" whilst repeating Advanced Battle. I never checked but I don't think they did as I don't think that episode has been shown outside of Japan. >.>;;) Although, as I stated in the brackets... they do sometimes say that they are going to show episodes that appear in the Japanese run of the show (the third Special follows the episode they showed yesterday~) but not neccesarily the overseas version. I guess we'll see. ^^;;

---

Edit [28th July 2015]: Yeah... CiTV didn't show Pokemon: Mega Evolution Special (Episode Three) on Monday 27th July 2015 after all. Just the next episode of Pokemon the Series: XY (Good Friends, Great Training~). Typical. -_-;;

8
Erm... yeah. I was in two minds as whether to post this. ^^;; I don't usually start a new topic when CiTV start showing new episodes of an ongoing Season as since it's fairly obvious when a Season has "ended" you know to keep an eye on the listings for more episodes when it hasn't... and by fairly obvious, I mean the title changes. -coughs innocently- But this is still Pokemon the Series: XY we're talking about... so yeah. Two minds. But since Pokemon.com are sure that this classes as Season Two, I thought I'd better post a heads up. ^^;; Ahem. According to my Sky TV Guide, CiTV are to start showing Season Two of Pokemon the Series: XY at 5pm on Monday 6th April 2015. I've checked my listings for the following days and I don't see a second episode... so it's possible that the new episodes are going to be shown once a week on Mondays from now on. Which isn't fun for me but may be fun for you. -.- Yay.

---

Edit: Yeah, I guessed right. =P On Monday 6th April 2015, CiTV showed "Pathways to Peformance Partnering" at 5pm. According to my Sky TV Guide, CiTV are going to show the next episode - "When Dark and Light Collide" - at 5pm on Monday 13th April 2015. -prods- Looks like they're showing the new episodes weekly on Mondays after all.

So, yeah. According to my Sky TV Guide, on Saturday 4th April 2015 at 9:25am CiTV are showing the Prequel Short (or whatever the official term is for it) Diancie, Princess of the Diamond Domain. (Technically, the title is listed on my television as being Prequel: Diancee Princess of the Diamond Domain... ahem.) Then at 9:35am, CiTV are showing Pokemon Movie 17: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction. (Again, it is listed as being Pokemon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction... for anyone searching for it with their fancy Sky+ boxes. ^^;;) Although there is no mention of any repeat broadcasts so far on my Sky TV Guide, I wouldn't be surprised if they showed it in the afternoon later in the Easter Holidays. >.>;; That's what CiTV have sometimes done in the past. -prods- Yay.

---

Edit: CiTV are going to repeat Diancie, Princess of the Diamond Domain at 1:30pm, Monday 6th April 2015 and Pokemon Movie 17: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction at 1:55pm. ^^;; On both the Saturday and Monday showings, the Movie follows the Prequel directly... but for some reason, on Saturday the Prequel is listed as being only 10 minutes long whereas on the Monday it is 25 minutes. O.o;; I guess the programmes are... overlapping? Odd.

10
Sleep deprivation will make people do odd things. For me, I end up searching for random shows using Sky+'s fancy search feature. XP So, yeah. According to Sky's TV Guide, CiTV are going to show all four parts of Pokemon Origins next week to coincide with Half Term (...I would have thought so, anyway.) On Tuesday 27th May 2014, they are showing Episode One: Red at 7:35am. On Wednesday 28th May 2014, they are showing Episode Two: Cubone at 7:35am. On Thursday 29th May 2014, they are showing Episode Three: Giovanni at 7:35am. On Friday 30th May 2014, they are showing Episode Four: Charizard at (you guessed it) 7:35am. I have no idea if they are going to repeat the episodes at a later date at a more reasonable time of day... but they have repeated the Pokemon Movies in the past. So, I don't know. -shrugs- I guess it's just something to keep an eye on.

Edit: AHEM. I don't have an update regarding when CiTV are planning to repeat Pokemon Origins, however I thought I should point something out that really irked my brother. I watched Episode One of Pokemon Origins when it was on Pokemon.com, my brother didn't... so was looking forward to the broadcast. Only to be, like I said, irked. I have no idea why, but CiTV have cut the scene where Red meets Brock after battling Blue. -prods- Since this is then referenced by Brock later on in the episode... it sorta spoils the whole thing. -prods again- I thought my Sky+ Recording was just dodgy (our reception has been effected repeatedly by thundery conditions for the past two weeks) but I checked ITV Player and the scene is missing from there too. Sigh.

11
According to my Sky TV Guide... CiTV are to start showing Pokemon the Series: XY on Weekends at 11:35am, starting on Saturday 5th April 2014. On the Saturday, they are showing "Kalos, Where Dreams and Adventures Begin!"... whilst on Sunday 6th April 2014, they are showing "Lumiose City Pursuit!". (The same episodes they showed on their Preview Weekend last year. -prods-) As well as starting the new Series, they are also repeating Pokemon Movie 16: Genesect and the Legend Awakened on the Saturday at 10:05am for those who haven't been able to catch it yet. Whether or not the timing remains the same for the week after or whether they'll shift to just showing one new episode per Weekend (as I don't think we're that far behind...) remains to be seen. Sigh.

What I do know is that I haven't finished Unova yet. >.>;; At least 11:35am is... reasonable, I suppose. Better than 10:35am... -_-;;

12
... Or at least I'm assuming it's a Preview. Ahem. >.>;; Anyway...

According to my Sky TV Guide, on Saturday 19th October 2013 at 9:25am CiTV are to premiere Pokemon Movie 16: Genesect and the Legend Awakened (under the title Pokemon: Movie 16 - Genesect & the Legend Awakened if you are struggling to find it...). I don't know if they're going to repeat it at a later date yet... but they have repeated Pokemon Movie 15 a couple of times so I wouldn't be surprised if they did. >.>;; Also... at 11:40am on Saturday 19th October 2013, CiTV are going to show the first episode of (as they're calling it... I'm not sure if this is the official title...) Pokemon the Series: XY - Kalos, Where Dreams and Adventures Begin. At 11:40am on Sunday 20th October 2013, they're then showing a second episode - Lumiose City Pursuit.

Yeah... I'm assuming showing these two episodes of Pokemon the Series: XY is as a Preview as CiTV still have quite a few episodes of Pokemon BW: Adventures in Unova to show and because they did this last time (ie. they showed the first two episodes of Pokemon: Black and White whilst still showing new episodes of Pokemon DP: Sinnoh League Victors...). So, erm... a new Movie and two random new episodes... yay? ^^;; (By the way... I posted this here as I thought the premiere of a new Movie trumped the previewing of two new episodes for a Series that will probably actually start being shown here next year... >.>;;)

---

Edit: CiTV are repeating Pokemon Movie 16: Genesect and the Legend Awakened on Friday 25th October 2013 at 4:30pm. ^^;;

TV Series / CiTV to show Pokemon BW: Adventures in Unova
« on: May 14, 2013, 17:02 »
According to my Sky TV Guide... starting on Sunday 19th May 2013, CiTV are showing Pokemon BW: Adventures in Unova at 10:25am and 10:50am. -prods- On Saturday 18th, they are showing "Meloetta and the Undersea Temple" at 10:25am and "Unova's Survival Crisis" at 10:50am (the final episodes of Pokemon BW: Rival Destinies). On the Sunday, they are showing "Beauties Battling for Pride and Prestige" at 10:25am (although... for some reason it has a five-minute slot... O.o) and "A Surface To Air Tag Battle Team" at 10:50am. I have no idea if they're going to continue showing two episodes per Saturday and Sunday (that seems unfeasable...) but I thought I'd better give everyone a heads up. -prods-

Disney XD are currently showing seemingly "new episodes" of Pokemon BW: Rival Destinies at 7am (8am on their +1 Hour Channel) at Weekends... however without any Episode Descriptions available on 'i' on Sky's TV Guide and with my sheer inablity to wake up at that sort of time in the morning, I have no idea whether these are infact Pokemon BW: Adventures in Unova episodes. -innocently coughs-

14
I have no idea. -innocent cough- According to Amazon UK, Pokemon Movie 15: Kyurem vs The Sword of Justice is scheduled to be released on 14th October 2013. However... as I've stated before, I'm pretty sure that a Movie can't be released in this Country (UK) unless it has been passed by the BBFC. And at the time of writing (1st May 2013), I did a quick search of the BBFC Website and it had no mention of Pokemon Movie 15.

So... it's perfectly possible that within the next month it will pop up on the BBFC Website and it will indeed be released on 14th October. Or it might not and this topic may be completely premature. I just thought that I should mention it. -scratches head-

---

Edit [22nd August 2013]: I've got two pieces of news. ^^ Firstly, Pokemon Movie 15: Kyurem vs The Sword of Justice was passed by the BBFC on 15th August 2013, meaning that it can now be released in this country. Yay. ^^ The second piece of news is that Amazon.co.uk have changed the release date to 30th September 2013. So... yay again. ^^

---

Edit [8th October 2013]: I would just like to say... Movie 15 is out now on DVD! =D There is a regular version and a version that contains a Limited Edition Trading Card... although I don't know what of as I haven't gotten hold of a copy myself. -coughs innocently- But... yay! =D
