Aww I missed the 1984 convo. I love 1984. W/ regards to the Room 101 question it would just be a load of dogs I would confess to everything as soon as I saw them I'm so weak.

Was supposed to be going out tonight but my friends bailed on me againnnn

My cousin just turned 18 and got engaged recently.
My parents got married when the mother was 18 and had me when she was 20...

It seems that kids before 20 is he norm these days though. Loads of my friends have started to get married now though.

Well did she make you cry? Make you break down?
Shatter your illusions of love?
And is it over now? Do you know how
To pick up the pieces and go home?

I'm overly concerned that I'm overdraft on my card because I lost track of my bill. Fortunately our local shop has a cash-point outside so I'll check it later.

Can't decide whether to get my G491 exam remarked because in the other 2 physics modules I got 58/60 and 143/150 but in that one I only got 68/90 and I didn't feel it went badly, but then it's not actually going to effect my overall grade it's just I'm pretty sure it's been marked wrong. Might have to get a copy of my exam script first and sort of like remark it myself and see if I think it should change much but it's like £13 to do that and then £42 to get it remarked so that's like £55 and it won't actually do much, it just feels wrong.

Make lists first; you'd be surprised at how much you already have!

She's got a point, making a list should be extremely helpful. I would probably do that if I were you.

My fingertips hurt from playing too much Guitar Hero.

I'm sure people on here who have already been through university or are going through it now will be able to help you with this. There are a great number of us you can ask!

I pulled my thigh muscle walking around Cardiff castle and then went to the gym and did arm day... my leg and arms are killing me today and I can't walk down stairs, so leaving my flat today is a nope =[

There are always things you dont necessarily think of that always crop up. In my dorm in first year, for example, no one thought to buy a can opener (between 18 of us, that's pretty unlucky), whilst in second year no one had a kettle

I'm in the same boat haha, I started buying my stuff yesterday! I have no clue on what an acceptable amount to take is :P Got some new pillows and a huge throw, cutlery and some more kitchen things. I ended up getting some randomer things like coasters, tea towels and an over door hanger for my wardrobe (or hopefully en-suite pls)
Still have quite a bit to get though!

Oh. It seems my parents, though they're actually prett well off, are gonna try and get through this without buying a single thing. I wanted loads of new stuff and now I'm probs not gonna get anything new & will have to go the whole year with really ugly plates and grotty old red checked tea towels smh
