That USA equaliser though, wow. The swerve on the shot was incredible.

Gonna be watching the Brazil game tonight and if the other one is on the red button, I'll nip that one on every now and then. Holland v Chile is my main match for the 5pm kick-offs, but I want the Socceroos to do well against Spain...so I'll keep tabs on that match too.

Oh, people forgot ITV4 exists.

I know man. That swerve was amazing. Anyone else see the one handed save Howard made after the ball hit the goalpost?

didn't help that on BBC Sport it didn't say ITV4 were showing it smh

Backing Costa Rica to go far. Argentina's progress will depend on who they meet in the last 16.

Reckon Germany will win it for the first time though.

Argentina will get found out, their midfield is just so lacklustre at the moment. Put them against Germany, France, Colombia, etc. and they'll lose I reckon. Same for Belgium, look very disappointing.

So Suarez bit another player... third time he's done this haha

Prandelli's resigned from the Italy job and blamed trying to get the best out of Balotelli as one of the main reasons for failure... kinda understandable, should have gone with Insigne / Immobile / Cerci as an attacking three from the start.

Costa Rica v Greece in the next round... SMH

Brazil v Chile will be a good game, so will Colombia v Uruguay. :police:

I think Suarez should stop tasting his competition, even if on accident (didn't look accidental. *Rimshot*). Still, Greece managed to sneak in and shut Ivory Coast out, who would've thought that would happen?

Ivory Coast always flop. Fair play to Greece.

Colombia look so good, James Rodriguez has been player of the tournament so far.

Suarez will probs get a 10 match international ban since the first two times he got a 7 and 8 match ban respectively

Could be longer than 10, in my opinion. Shame, Colombia v Uruguay would be even more interesting with Suarez - and Falcao if he wasn't injured.

France are looking good though, they should do well against Ecuador today, while Iran and Nigeria are going to battle for 2nd in their group...haha France v Iran in the last 16 would be funny.

USA can still finish top of their group, even if they'd have to beat Germany to do so. USA v Russia / Algeria would be fun for a last 16 match...

I'm not looking for a win against Germany. It would take a miracle for that. I just hope for a Ghana/Portugal draw.

Suarez has got a 9 game international ban and a 4 month ban from football apparently

Hm.... That sounds about fair. Then again, I don't watch football (gonna call it this to practice for French class), so I don't know much about how fair it seems.

Yeah it's pretty fair tbh, ends up missing quite a lot of games. Seen a few saying he should get a bigger ban lol

omg no :(
That's what he gets for trying to be Hannibal Lecter

But I'm watching the USA v Germany game. I'm torn.

I only just started watching football with the Germany vs Ronaldo Portugal game a few weeks ago. So I don't know much about it but I know I quite enjoy watching Germany play. But I live in the US. So I'm experiencing a conflict of interest right now watching this game...

Ronaldo should have scored 4 goals v Ghana, shame. At least he can rest up and be fully fit for the next season.

Fair play to the USMNT, they really did achieve something very difficult =]
