Random Randomness / Wanting a new computer/laptop, need some advice!

My old faithful laptop has finally given up the ghost with the internet connection only working wired and it's taking an age to start, so I've decided to invest in a new one!
Basically I need something under £500 (might be too much of a stretch lol) that will be pretty heavy duty. I'm planning on getting PS/AI/In Design and Sai so it'll need to run all the adobe stuff without too much lag.
I'm not really fussed if it is a laptop/desktop or not because this is so I can do my college work at home. Laptop would probably be easier for portability but I don't mind getting a desktop.
I'd prefer if it ran Windows 7 because I don't really like the look of Windows 8 haha.
Using art programs, word and going on the internet is most likely all I'll be using it for- so gfx for gaming isn't a big deal.
Any suggestions will be appreciated :3

Your Sprite Art / Inferna's first sprite shop in a while

Yeah I'm slightly bored and want to sprite again!
I've not done anything for a while sooo I might be a bit rusty!

I will do:
Recolours
Mixes (only 2x pokemon)
Revamps
Small scratched pokemon (no fakemon etc, 100x100)

Nothing stupid plz! If I won't be able to do it then you'll need to request something else.
I'm too lazy to hunt for examples of my stuff but yeah

Older Main Games / Inferna's Egglocke Challenge

Soo I've not played Pokemon for a while. I've decided to do an Egglocke challenge!

This is pretty much the same as a Nuzlocke but with the added rules that my team will be made up from Pokemon hatched from eggs.
Obviously as I'm doing it on the actual game I can't use hacks.
So what I'm going to do is randomise 30 Pokemon (6 from each gen) and breed into eggs. Then I'll scramble (ha pardon the pun) the eggs up in the box and pick 6 to use and trade them over to white 2.

Rules:
~ All Pokemon must be nicknamed.
~ If a Pokemon faint it is dead and will be boxed/released.
~ The first Pokemon I pick is my starter and must not die.
~ I am only allowed to replace two hatched Pokemon with caught Pokemon once during the game.
~ A white out = game over.
~ To make things slightly easier for myself I am allowed to catch a new Pokemon on a route that is even numbered.
~ At every landmark I pass up until the e4 I am allowed to trade an egg over instead of catching a Pokemon there.
~ I will set the battle style to set.
~ Just to make things fairer, all the egg Pokemon must reach level 5 before a death 'counts'.

I think that's it!

Well onto the random generator (set to no legendaries):

6 Kanto Pokemon

(If I get Scyther/Seadra I'm not allowed to evolve them into Scizor/Kingdra.)

6 Johto Pokemon


6 Hoenn Pokemon


6 Sinnoh Pokemon


6 Unova Pokemon


So looks like a pretty decent mix! Nothing too powerful and nothing too crappy ha, well besides Kricketune :u
My next post will be starting my journey with what my team consists of.

aka I actually drew something after not drawing anything since March.

I drew this after wanting to work on colours and backgrounds a little more:

only drew this on sunday. it took me sooooo long to get back into things ha. The lines are a little sloppy in places but i got so annoyed with it and just gave up.

hope you like c&c on both appriciated. might start posting/drawing more again idk
