set up me zotero library with my own Hosting and got the webDAV to talk to zotero nicely which doesn't sound like much but it will help in the long run with my amateurish attempts to improve my understanding of my own epical genetic fails. tbf this sort of thing would fox usual bigwig academics and theyd throw a tantrum and yell at the admin staff at the uni so i am allowed to feel a little bit smug despite my epical brain undevelopment

also for the first time in about a million million years i got a winning streak of like 13 or something in the Super Singles in the battle tree w my fabbo team katarna/female incineroar/male primarina before falling afoul to a thrash/persim berry braviary (always pack a fast ghost type anti-spinner, folks!) but it felt Good to lose for once instead of doing what i usually do which is run away from the battle tree while yelling I HATE THIS STUPID GAME and not playing pokemon at all for a week or so.

after months and months of tears, i finally feel - less than 24 hours before opening night - that we have a show coming together!!

my feet hurt, and all i've eaten in 10 hours is a pack of apricots, but we //did it// and the girls who were a bit unremarkable are coming out of their shells, they're so amazing with costume and makeup and hair, and i know that even though the next four days will be exhausting and I'll be puking at the afterparty without any alcohol, we can do this!!!!

u are an inspiration and i hope i can be as good as what i want to achieve as u. good luck!!!!!!!! i wont say break a leg cos we nervous awkward people have enough body joint feeble issues already so i will say have good legs i guess?????? i hope that doesn't sound too weird

Good luck to you Shrub. ^^

At practice, my games today were 222/191/230. I had one open out of all 3 of those games (a frame that I didn't have a strike or spare) and I had the best score out of everyone all 3 games. I think i've finally made a breakthrough.

Managed to get my potato of a computer to run a game in full HD and at 60fps.

Admittedly, it's a game from 2002, but at this new resolution I forced it to work at and at that frame rate it feels glorious!

I used to call my pc a potato too, back when I had Windows XP installed on it.

I downloaded a lot of Makaton resources yesterday. My dad said he will help me with printing off some of it soon.
I've decided to make learning Makaton my new years resolution.

I just unlocked super hard mode in Wario Land 4!

In the level Hall Of Hieroglyphics, the switch is near the beginning and forces you to press it so you have a limited time to do the level! In the first level of the emerald passage, the switch is directly below the portal, forcing you to press it!

And you start off with one heart!

There should be a super super hard mode where every switch is below the portal!

Tax rebate is the best phrase. It is the best feeling. I feel so loved, I'm gonna go stab things on dragon age 2

Speaking of taxes I got my W2 last night. I have to make 10350 to file so i'm too poor to file taxes.

Hooray for being poor

I just beat the one of the passages in Wario Land 4 in Super Hard mode. With only one treasure chest. That princess at the end is going to be ugly by the time I finish this game!

Feeling productive today after doing some cleaning and prepping a neat little Psychology folder for uni.

The cover is quite basic but I figured plastering the thing in memes would be super weird since I'm the big, bald, bearded guy of the class.

Also got a fantastic semester slot since it means that I'm not in uni later than 4pm this semester.

I discovered a new word yesterday - Homophone.

A homophone is a word that has the exact same pronunciation as another word, but with a different spelling and meaning.

I found out about it on a Youtube channel.

Today I caught up on the dishes, and the washing. And I bought myself a bath bomb to celebrate. Not bad for a day off, although I have just wasted the last 3 hours playing dragon age whilst Jon plays on the Witcher...
