that moment when Australia have been outperforming Spain.
I've been really impressed with how they've done actually, but they'll struggle to beat Spain without Cahill

My mom bought me this new laptop and it gets really hot when the chat is being spammed. Now my leg is starting to hurt because it is getting so hot. Please, if you don't want me to get burned, then don't spam the chat.

There you go, this seems a bit funnier to me. GO ENGLAND, YOU (as well as everyone) ARE BETTER THAN SPAIN!

We can still technically go through but it's not in our hands and is quite unlikely

if Costa Rica (somehow) beat Italy then we're out.

Gerrard should just retire now. Urgh.

The ref was poor but unfortunately the lads just didn't perform. Don't really blame Hodgson, bar not trying to get Terry out of international retirement I don't think there's anything else he could have done. Since we're note technically out I'll still back us but got France and back up just in case.

EDIT:

Rooney scores a tap in for his first world cup goal and the nation's bowing at his feet.

Am I seriously the only person in this country who realises that on the biggest stage he is freakin' useless?

Considering the amount of stick he's consistently had for a few years you are definitely not the only one. He was actually decent last night, tried to get the team moving but he wasn't the main driver enough (which is what you want from a #10) and could have had a few more.

Plus if he had made the mistakes Gerrard did yesterday the press would have torn him to shreds last night.

Henderson and Cahill have been England's best players this tournament for sure (so far).

EDIT: Fair play to Costa Rica, they were class

Well guys, Messi saves Argentina again, but Iran fought like warriors.

If only Iran had taken their abundance of chances. Fair play to Messi, was a spectacular goal.

2 all. Tie for Ghana and Germany, and Muller's face was bloody as hell at the end.

Such a great game, was hoping Ghana would pull through (had them in a sweepstake 4 years back so they've been my African team since I guess?), John Boye at the back looks a very good player (bar the mistake for Dempsey's goal, whoops).

Disappointed at Nigeria not starting Ameobi again. Either way Bosnia will probably beat them.

Then Portugal v USA tomorrow, come on Ronaldo (sorry USA fans) =]

Half the teams I was going for in this are out, and half are still in at the moment.

Here's to hoping the US or Russia get out of the group stage. :c We all know Spain's going nowhere, and England's out too.
