I eye the staff cautiously.

"Alright, be ready as soon as you can. I'm sorry if I have caused any problems" I say as I finish polishing my staff.

"Don't mention it."

"You making breakfast? Smells good!"

"Yes, if I was going into a place i've never been, why not have breakfast before. Oh, it's done." I take my open palm, and bunch it into a fist, putting the fire out.

<day after my last post, same time as Edan & Chloe>

//It's at least starting to get light now... I probably shouldn't have stayed out all night...//

I notice two people around a fire, suddenly the fire is put out

//Warlocks... I haven't seen them around though, maybe they're new to these parts?//

I walk up to them.

"Hey, I haven't seen you two around here before. Do you need any help finding places? I know my way round the city pretty well."

"I'm not sure, first, who are you?"

"Nikolai Phoenix, yourselves?"

Extends hand out, to be shaken.

Come daylight, I feel obliged to hide myself in an alleyway near the city limits.  Even at the edge of Equinox, there are still more people than I'd like.  I let out a long sigh as I watch them.  They seem ignorant; it's surprising, considering that this is the third alley I've been in since arriving where there's an obvious sign of magical conflict.  On the opposite wall is a large black stain, one that I can safely presume is from a strong pyromancer.  Any one of those people could just set foot down here and they'd do a double take.

Before I leave, I focus on the pockets of a couple of business-types on their way to work.  Their wallets slip out freely and float over to my waiting hand.  I take the cash and loose change I can find inside and toss the wallets away.

//Just a few hundred more and I can probably get a place to stay in the city, if I felt like it.//

I smirk to myself and walk out into the street, blending in with everyone else as I make my way to the nearest pub.

Matt walked down the street in Equinox, looking for someone to prank. While it was light it would be more difficult to successfully pull off the prank he had in mind. It would be too easy to prank the people around, so he broke into a jog and made his way to another area of the city.

Eventually he sat down on a bench to catch his breath. So far no one had caught his attention.  Boredom soon set in. He looked around at the people around and settled for a far simpler trick. Using his telekinesis, he knocked off the hat of a stranger, as if the wind has blown it. Each time they went to pick it up, he would move it a bit further out their reach. Matt couldn't help laughing at him.

"I'm Edan, nice to meet you." I shake Nikolai's hand.

"And you?" I gesture at the girl besides him, who didn't yet seem to be aware of my prescence

"Chloe..." I shake his hand, cautiously.

I use Biomancy to reach out with my senses and find out a little more about Nikolai.

What do I do? We are natural enemies, I ought not to trust him. //

"Nice to meet you."

"So... We were about to head into the city, after we prepared, of course." I say, then I take the pan off the extinguished fire. I offer some of the contents to Chloe.

"Thanks Edan."

I wander off to sit down and eat hoping that Edan and Edan alone follows.
