i love the feature. i do get a lot of crap pokemon, but i can just trade them off again in wonder trade and hope for something good, y'know?
besides getting rid of my bs, i like to usually give out some nice pokemon to surprise someone out there. it's such a nice feeling knowing that i gave someone a kecleon they probably didn't want, but she was like level forty and well trained.
so you know.

it's actually feature of google translate itself, i found out after fiddling with it for a while. there's a little pencil-y button in the input box that allows you to handwrite what you'd like to translate.
(there's plenty of sites that allow you to draw the kanji and it brings up similar ones, but that requires a lot of copy and pasting.)

ive found out that google translate does a pretty darn good job at figuring out foreign pokemon names. whether it be japanese, korean, chinese, french, etc., google translate actually sort of captures what the name is all about.
i have a japanese pikachu whos name i recently decoded, and evidently, his name is a pun on light, electricity and the squeaky "chu" sound. i'm gonna call him chiyuu from now on, considering that was one of the verbal translations for a group of kanji.
the drawing in of kanji is also very nice and accurate! it might not get the actual name as intended, but it does a darn good job.

She hadn't had any time to delve into the mechanics of her own body over the whole course of the useless "training" they received, and barely knew anyone sitting around her. She absolutely despised the idea that such a well planned mission had such a near due date to their recruitment, and while she wasn't worried about herself, she was a little anxious to see if her 'teammates' were up to the task. It wasn't quite her superiority making her wonder, it was slight concern for the health of the group, if only for her own image.

Exp can now be gained by capturing a Pokemon...nice for catching sprees I guess.
its really nice anyway, though? i dont know about you but when im training on victory road or something and i find a rare pokemon, i both was the exp from defeating it and i want it in my pokedex. plus, the new exp share mechanic is really nice. it saves a lot of frustration when training, decided who to give the share to and who to fight. now it doesn't really matter who fights, everyone in the team gets a share from watching.

once i dreamt that i was in a house with like four floors and an elevator but it went down, not up, and there were man eating flowers and such
and monsters that lived in fishbowls
and hobos that eyed me funny, and guys that wouldn't let me into cafes even though the hobos looked like they were going to kill me
and my friend died 
but it really wasn’t that scary despite...? i dont know it’s not like i woke up screaming or anything
or even woke up because of it at all :I uGH okay it was okay but look at me i was terrible
