Name: John Tempest.

Age:early-mid thirties, but looks to be in his forties.

Home: He does not claim residence anywhere, and likes to travel around, he is most often sighted around Saffron.

He is now considered a Saffron resident, he grew up there and is currently spending a lot of his time there.

Description: Intimidating. Very tall, 6'6 to 6'7. Long black hair. Wears nothing but black- black jeans and a black hat, making it difficult to see his face. He hides the rest of his clothing under a long black coat, which he keeps fastened. His voice often startles people as it is very deep. Some of the time he is seen with an unusually quiet Murkrow on his shoulder.

Character: Quiet and sighted alone often, he likes to view pokemon battles. He is a somewhat experienced trainer himself and will accept the occasional challenge. He has some badges, which are kept underneath his coat.

He is believed by sceptics to have some psychic powers.

He is holding a Snorlax which belonged to a boy kidnapped by the Management, he will probably keep this Pokemon.

Tempest has had many other Pokemon in his past, some of which are deceased and buried in Pokemon Tower, some are living in the wild. Dead Pokemon include Arcanine, Scyther and a second Yanma. He has had a Gengar which now lives in Pokemon Tower, an unamed Pokemon living in Viridian Forest, an unamed Pokemon living in a cave on One Island and three other Pokemon in the Safari Zone. 

Friends: Blaine, Saffron Dojo Master

Enemies: Pretty much enemies with the whole 'Where to go next' gang. In particular, Aedan and Josh.

Also enemies with Sabrina her psychic apprentices.

RecentlySome time back had an encounter with The Management

Current location: Saffron City

History: He lived in Saffron when he was a child, long before it developed into the city it is today, he didn't like the devolopment at the time, and probably still has a certain dislike for what became of Saffron.

It is now known that he has had previous encounters with Blaine and Sabrina, he appears to be friends with Blaine and enemies with Sabrina.

John has had various incidents in his life involving pokemon. He was burned by a Growlithe at the age of six;

It is now known that Tempest once came second in the Indigo League tournament, his team consisted of Arcanine, Alakazam, Scyther and three others.
