I dunno, Zihark's stats seem a bit dampered to me  and in the long run a little lower than Ed's.  However, he does have Earth af which is quite an advatange and perhaps in the longrun better than Edward's better stats.

and yeah I am narrowing my unit selection to a slender amonut.  I only use Aran if really ndeeded, and he's not high level.

I mean long-term i ended up using Stefan as my Trueblade -- to be honest, I dropped Zihark by endgame.  Zihark does get great stats, and Earth affinity is great, but with hard mode you gotta gauge the short term a lot more than the long term which is why Edward isn't as useful as can be.  I mean, you've already done that and you've been successful, but the limited pool of EXP makes it a chore to build people up a lot.  It's just a completely different game in hard mode, and I do agree that Edward beats Zihark out in everything but that Earth affinity in Normal mode.  Volug/Zihark's EarthxEarth really saved my ass when Nolan and Jill weren't as good as I needed them to be so it might just be my personal experience getting in the way of things, but it provides a very solid backup in case you need it.  And Resolve/Beastfoe on Volug only makes it better once you can remove Widlheart.

Aran is actually very good early on, he lags due to his lack of speed though.

Yeah its a port of an SNES game, but one of only 2 SNES games I grew up with (Blame the Mega Drive). Having fun remembering old memories playing this. Too bad its a lazy port with a lazy CD and a lazy booklet. Don't be lazy for the 30th Nintendo!

I always stick with both Jill and Haar, and usually end up picking Haar for the endgame, maxed out and everything. As far as trueblades go, I usually can't be bothered because there's so much to do in so little time, so I usually just wait for Stefan to show up and Vague Katti with his arse into Tuesday. My usual endgame ends up something like this:

The forced (Ike, Micaiah, Sothe, Ena, Kurthnaga, and Sanaki)
Either Jill or Haar
Either Elincia or Mist, depending on the either the ending I want to see or for team balance. There is such a thing has having too many fliers...
Shinon
Stefan
Titania
Either Boyd or Nolan
Either Oscar or Geoffrey for the Wishblade (I never liked using Nephenee...)
Either Nailah or Volug
Either Caineghis or Skrimir, depending on how ballsy I feel.
Tibarn (You can't have the endgame without Tibarn)
As for the Herons, either Rafiel or Reyson, depending on stats and if I managed to grab the boots for Rafiel so that he has a wider space to move around.

oh, i used haar too.  don't forget haar.

I didn't use him in endgame because, as much as I love him, I wanted to sneak all of Caineghis/Tibarn/Naesala/Naila into the mix with something like Boyd/Shinon/Elincia/Stefan/Volke (in my HM run i think I omitted him)/Soren or Callil/maybe Gatrie/I forget who else is in this game lol and i use Reyson or Rafiel for Herons.  Haar's indoor movement and speed cap are too low to really use him over anyone else, and all the mounted units suffer the problem of really low caps and reduced mobility.  i never really liked lance users either..

OH YEAH! I totally forgot about my mages! If I don't use either Nolan or Boyd, I go with either Soren, Callil, or if I feel like it the 'prince' of Daein (his name escapes me... 'c' something?)

Volke is a GOD if you get good growths on him. My first time on hard he OHKOd everyone in sight because his growths were amazing. I haven't been so lucky with him recently, and it makes me very sad ;-;

Actually you're thinking of Pelleas haha, not even a C.  Although, technically it's Soren, but I don't think you'll ever get that ending in a million years.  Also, Volke is alright, he's kinda outlived his usefulness in that there's stuff that can hit harder than him at that point, but I use him cause he's a badass.  He was pretty good in Path of Radiance though.

I bought Epic Mickey when it came out. Its fun and all but it gets kinda boring. I do enjoy the whole painting and taking the paint off and the quests, I really wish it had voices though. I haven't finished the game cause like I said it got boring. LOL
