Sometimes, you like music despite knowing the musical creation behind it is terrible. And no matter how elitist you are about music and how much you moan and gripe about 'Pop these days', you can't deny that there is at least one appauling song that still makes you tap your foot whenever you listen to it.
That's what this place is for. Don't worry. We won't judge. Much.
(Note, this isn't necessarily for stuff that other people say is bad and you disagree - so much as stuff which people say is bad and you AGREE with their reasons, you just still enjoy it anyway.)
My guilty band pleasure is definitely Westlife... Because, yeah, I know virtually everything they do is a cover, they're basically an overglorified boy band designed for tweens to squeal over, and everything they sing is the most nbearably cheesy stuff. But I don't care. They have good voices! And their songs make me so happy! D: I can't listen to 'When You're Looking Like That' and NOT dance.
As for my guilty song pleasure. 'What Makes You Beautiful', by One Direction. The first line's autotune grates on my ears. The band cannot sing at all. The lyrics are messed up, and I can't stand the concept of 'Being shy and reserved = beautiful because YOU SHOULD BE INSECURE GODDAMNIT' but you know what, the song still makes me stupidly happy anyway. Why? I do not know. I do not know at all. But it puts me in a good mood and makes me want to dance everywhere and aaaaaaah. THIS SONG.
What about you guys?

Skrillex is my guilty music pleasure and I don't understand why it pleasures me so much D:

pretty much everything that i listen to would count as guilty pleasure in some way or another.
probably depending on who im talking to.
bottom line is that my taste in music sucks oh well.

This.
My housemate is very into terrible pop and she plays it relatively constantly and I pretend that I'm judging her but she knows that I'm really loving it. We have silly sing-along sessions where we dance around the kitchen and belt One Direction to each other as if the song were a power ballad and it is amazing. What can I say? She lights up my world like nobody else.
Also I still enjoy listening to everything that my 14-year-old emo-phase self loved: Green Day, Funeral for a Friend, Jimmy Eat World.. I still love it! I will merrily blast American Idiot if the mood strikes me.

my guilty pleasure is i love to listen to the Youve been framed theme tune

Westlife are definitely one of mine too.
I actually like that Call Me Maybe song. Cary Rae Jeppsen, is it?

I've got an entire iTunes playlist of TV Themes. They're just THAT awesome.

I'm thinking mine would probably be Mr Boombastic by Shaggy.
I regret nothing.
-
Mine would have to be Justin Bieber. Really impressed by some of his recent music. And especially watching some of his live acoustic performances...the guy has actually got a cracking voice.

Yes! I genuinely love that song <3 It's just so catchy and happy and silly and the music video makes me giggle every time.

"Hey, I just met you
And this is crazy
Here's my number
So call me maybe..."

Pretty much any dance number that gets me moving gets slung on my iPod Shuffle for running to, such as Saturday Night by Whigfield, Castles in the Sky by Ivan van Dahl and Rhythm is a Dancer by Snap.
On a more embarrassing level for somebody who claims that he prefers Heavy Metal, I do have a rather soft spot for Daniel Bedingfield..
-
Definitely The Spice Girls for me....
-
Definitely One Direction. Alcohol tricked me into liking their songs, and then my friends tricked me into finding their videos crazily adorable. It's a slippery slope.
-
Backstreet Boys - Everybody. I don't know what it is that still makes me love that song.

None of these are guilty pleasures.
1D are and they're fantastic. Same for JB actually. I agree with Call Me Maybe. I'd also class Harlem Shake too; dope track despite the hype.

this threads old but oh well
one direction, brokencyde, spice girls, all of dubstep, and blink 182 if they count
brokencyde probably the worse, i hate it and love it at the same time

Possibly a bit of Taylor Swift somewhere every now and then...except that I only listen to her older stuff that I like on occasion, so...no guilty pleasures here really.
-
Taylor Swift shouldn't be a guilty pleasure she goes ham on a regular
-
Alphabeat... Eurovision songs. Yeah. Europop.
And Swing music. And Classical.
