So after thinking about it a lot, there are a few Pokemon I'd like Mega Evolutions for, but I'd also like to know what you think! Post which Pokemon you'd like to see Mega Evos for, their possible designs, abilities, type, stat buffs, new moves for the Pokemon, and reason why you think they deserve one! Here's my list:
Mega Vileplume
Ability: Regenerator
New stats: 130 / 70 / 90 / 110 / 90 / 50
New Moves: Leech Seed, Toxic Spikes
Vileplume has always been among my favorite Grass and Poison types, but it suffers from a severe case of being outclassed. With 130/90/90 defenses, this would make for an interesting defensive Pokemon, with Regenerator and Leech Seed setting it apart from Roserade in the role of Toxic Spiker. If you don't need T-Spikes, this would have a decent Sp. Attack stat to utilize, but retains the shallow offensive movepool of Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb / Sludge Wave and HP Fire/Ice. In terms of design, I'd say have the Rafflesia flower even bigger, possibly having the leaves drooping so far down that it uses them as appendages.
Mega Machamp
Ability: No Guard
New stats: 125 / 130 / 80 / 40 / 85 / 80
New Moves: Drain Punch
Machamp has been severely outclassed in most things by Conkeldurr, and this form of Mega Machamp would help bring things back for Machamp. DynamicPunch would still be the main sell here, coming off the unchanged base 130 Attack. Drain Punch would allow for healing, which is surprisingly a move that Machamp currently doesn't have. As for the design, I'd like to see a much bigger championship belt, maybe some extra arms, I don't even know.
Mega Gengar
Ability: Levitate
New type: Ghost / Dark
New stats: 60 / 65 / 60 / 135 / 65 / 110
New moves: Can't think of any that it needs that make sense
Basically just changing Gengar into Ghost/Dark really turns it into an entirely new Pokemon. It wouldn't really utilize the Dark STAB, but lack of any weaknesses (unless Fairy hits this Super Effectively, which I'm hoping for) really aids Gengar, especially vs. Psychic types. Not much else to say about it, aside from lowering Sp. Defense to ensure that neutral STAB attacks really hurt, so it can't really wall forever. As for the design, I'd really just like to see a return to the days of Gengar being black instead of purple. Look how awesome this is: (http://www.blocked.net/yellow/094.gif)
So what do you all hope for?
Mega Meganium
Ability: Serene Grace
Stats: 100/80/100/85/100/80
Retype: Grass/Dragon (Dragon is more of a Dinosaur type anyway...)
New moves: Dragon Pulse, Dragon Breath, Outrage
Serene Grace Meganium would be Epic, to put it simply. Body Slam & Dragon breath would be staples on Physical & Special sets respectively, and then possibilities such as Dual screens, or a cheesy Ancientpower hax set. I'd just live to see my Dino get more use
Mega Hydreigon...
- I wouldn't be able to think of abilities or anything but I have a fantastic idea about how it should look! (I might try spriting it tomorrow.)
MegaShuckle. And an evolution with higher defenses and kick-ass HP. ::)

If they made one, I could only see it having Levitate, as they typically don't give things with Levitate multiple abilities, Bronzong being the only exception. Still, Mega Hydreigon would be interesting.
Mega Quagsire even though he's the best Pokemon already. :police:
Yes, Mega Hydreigon please! Just make sure we don't have to face it in-game... Ouch.
There are a number of pokemon which I feel that, even if they don't get outright evolutions (or wouldn't really suit true evolutions), they should at least have mega evolutions. I'll just list a couple here...
Mega Mightyena
Ability: Moxie/?
New Stats: 80/115/80/30/70/95
Type: Dark
New Moves: Agility
Mightyena has always been considerably outclassed. It's attack and speed have never really represented the design, and whilst Intimidate was useful that was where it's advantages ended. Mightyena isn't, to the best of my knowledge (I'm not a wizz on competitive play, so forgive me if I have got this wrong), particularly useful even in lower tiers, which is a shame because it has a decent movepool and a great design.
The increase in attack and speed is essential for a boost in usefulness. Agility could be added to it's movepool to allow it to see some action, and the slight increase in it's defensive stats should reflect upon the extra bulk it's new design should show (bigger wolf/hyena. I'm no good at designs so I wouldn't know what else to do). It's ability should either be Moxie, allowing for sweeps in certain situations, or a new one which boosts the power of biting moves by 1.5x to 2x (or does that already exist?). Crunch with a base power of 160 or 240 anyone?
Other ones which spring to mind are Seviper and Zangoose, but I'm not entirely certain what the boosts would be for them... And the Fossil pokemon.
Are we ignoring the possibility of Mega Gardevoir?

Mega Gardevoir would be nice. Gardevoir has such low stats in nearly everything, it definitely needs a boost.
I said it in an earlier thread, but Mega Hariyama would be nice. I think the biggest change it needs is an increase in both defensive stats, since it has a decent Attack to work with and plenty of HP. I wouldn't know what else to give it, though.
Not getting my hopes up for it, but it'd be nice if Raichu could Mega-evolve, too. Mainly I'm sick of everyone using Pikachu over Raichu because of that dang-blasted Light Ball.
MegaLapras.
You know me. ;P But also;
MegaTyranitar (Something badass and scary looking)
MegaYanmega (For all sorts of Mega things, like MegaYanmega used Megahorn, etc.)
MegaPachirisu (Speed demon)
MegaMantine (Thought they were pretty cool in GSC)
MegaHo-oh and MegaLugia
MegaCorsola
Ability: Magic Guard
Stats: 104 / 76 / 110 / 96 / 114 / 50
Moves: Aromatherapy / Heal Bell, Iron Head
Corsola sucked, the typing and stats were horrendous for walling, but these stats inject life into it. The moves aren't special apart from the former move, but they suit the typing.
MegaEmpoleon
Technician
(You people can get stats)
Same reason as Technician Scizor, plus, Metal claw would be an option.
Mega Yanmega would be awesome.
I just had a thought though...do Mega evolutions mean Pokemon that receive them now benefit from Eviolite?
Mega Beedrill
Ability: Speed Boost
90/120/70/45/80/110
About the evolite, wait, that's a good question. I have no idea.
I would highly doubt it, Turner, as it's more akin to form change. I wouldn't say it's impossible, but it'd be unlikely.
Mega Beedrill should get Megahorn ;)
MegaAriados
The effect associated with his mega evolution would be a nice critical hit boost.
So Night Slash and Cross Poison + Scope Lens + Increased Gen 6 Critical Hit Rate + Mega Evolution + Focus Energy and in terms of damage, the ability Sniper. How wonderful without Shell Armor on the opponent.
Mega Swampert, the mega-evolution of the evolution of the evolution of my favourite Pokemon.
mega arcanine would be beautiful
Maybe it was the translation, but the live thing a few days ago implied every pokemon (at least final stage ones) would get one. Pokemon already competitive shouldn't get them, I'd give pokemon like Raticate and Pidgeot mevo's.

Yeah I agree with this, it seems stupid that Pokemon that are already massively powerful are getting mega evos. It might make sense for Mewtwo but I could really do without encountering a mega Blaziken.
Mega Sceptile
I am hoping sceptiles type changes to a grass/dragon seeing as it already can learn outrage, dragon pulse dragon breath and in the dragon egg group.
Speed is fine being 120 and an increase is always a bonus but its attack stat needs to gets boosted from 85 to 105-130. Sceptiles fighting is meant to be physical with the blades. Unfortunately ruby and sapphire had different mechanics.
After a blow from leafstorm, i switch to physical combat. Ooh would be exciting.
Makes me sad inside that unburden is terrible with megastones. If there is not another ability overgrow it is!
Mega Evolutions tend to get their own ability, so it wouldn't matter too much I'd think. Overgrow would be the way to go until you Mega Evolve, though.
Hehe Mega Ditto. ;D It should have the ability Colour Change. 8)
Pokemon I HOPE do not Mega Evolve are Blissey as that thing is a nightmare to take out normally if you don't have the right attacks (such as Focus Blast or Brick Break) or stuck with a Ghost Pokemon with all Ghost type or defensive attacks. Blissey has way too much HP and too many healing attacks.
Shedinja because even though it could use more HP, Wonder Guard on top of a mega evolution would make it too unbalanced. Wonder Guard is basically the ONLY thing Shejina has going for it and it is more of a novelty than an actual threat.
Mega Wailord would not make sense as it is already huge and no way can it be made even larger or change much unless it becomes part Steel.
Hydreigon could easily be made to have SIX heads as it is based off the Hydra.
Blissey's not hard to bring down at all. Entry hazards, especially Toxic Spikes, remove any and all utility it has, and any physical attack will 1-2 shot it. It doesn't need a mego evolution, but it's not hard to bring it down at all if you're not running 6 special attackers. It's also setup bait for many Pokemon, especially things like Rock Polish/Swords Dance Terrakion, as it's forced out immediately or else it'll be OHKO'd.
I never have problems with blissey.
Mega Skarmory
New Ability: Speed Boost (was thinking wonder guard but skarmory only has two weaknesses so that wound be ridiculously overpowered lol). either that or maybe a new effect that Heighten's speed and power at the cost of defense drop's.
Mega Typhlosion
New Type: Fire/Dark
New Ability: Either Intimidate or perhap's Flame body or Flash Fire.
Mega Manectric
New Type: Electric/Steel (Manectric + Iron Tail = Coolest thing in the world, even if he's more Sp.Atk Orientated)
New Ability: Either stick with Lightningrod, or perhaps Motor Drive or Sturdy (due to new steel-typing).

Skarmory has something like this already in Weak Armor, but it doesn't raise power, just Speed while lowering Defense. It's a terrible ability and never used over Sturdy. Steel/Flying isn't the most wonderful offensive typing, but it is good defensively, and that's what Skarmory does best.
If there's a Mega Skarmory, I think it would have Light Metal as an ability. I just always thought it seemed like it would be a better fit because the Pokedex mentions how its wings are hollow.
A
Mega Tyranitar
Ability: Sturdy or sand stream
I wanna see a mega typhlosion.
type: fire/ground (because volcanoes)
ability: flash fire
In fact, I'm thinking all the fully evolved starters should have megas.
in other words:
(kanto's are confirmed)
meganium
typhlosion
feraligatr
swampert
blaziken (confirmed)
sceptile
torterra
empoleon
infernape
emboar
serperior
samurott
I think these Pokemon would be cool to see:
Banette (Ghost/Dark)- Becomes significantly larger and more sinister looking looking more like a voodoo doll with a stitched mouth instead of a zipper
Cacturne- Grows larger and an extra set of larger lower arms that are extremely spiky clubs
Hydreigon: Grows another three heads on its body. The two heads on its hands are bigger and each head has pointy teeth
Golem (Rock/Steel): Grows even larger and bulkier with metal plates on its body

Omigosh, a mega swampert would just make the game for me!
Mega-Snorlax or we riot.
I would like to see a Mega-Nidoking/Nidoqueen. The two have great movepools, but are severely handicapped by their somewhat low stats. I don't know what would be a good ability for them would be though. Perhaps an form of poison point that can inflict badly poisoned? This seems like it would be over powered. Anyone else have any ideas?
Sheer Force is much better for both of them on most sets.
Do you think there will be any mega legendaries? Or is mega-ness already suggested by the fact that they are legendary in the first place?
Victreebell, that pokemon is godawful.
