So these images have sprung up all over the internet.

Who or what is Diancie, Hoopa and Volcanion? You can apparently request them in the GTS and are recognised Pokemon?
I'm glad I wasn't the only one to see these. I've seen Volcanion requested quite few times when I've been looking for various alternate language pokemon on the GTS. I guess that they're the event pokemon that have yet to be announced yet - I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.
Yes by the looks of it they will be event Pokemon, and apparently 3DS games have the capabilities to update like any PS3 and Xbox game does.
I don't see the three legendary Pokemon yet either. Like
Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres
Raikou, Entei, and Suicune
Regice, Registeel, and Regirock
Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie
Tornadus, Landorus and Thundurus
Where are Gen 6's 3 Legendary Pokemon...
Also some other points of interest to ponder on (http://www.reddit.com/r/pokemon/comments/1p3ek8/the_odd_mysteries_of_kalos/)
Ive already gotten an Yveltal, just caught a Zygarde, and i have encountered a Moltres in Pokemon Y. What legendary bird you get depends on your starter, and you can only find them (Zygarde and legendary bird) after beating the champion.
I would guess that they aren't available on GTS because of an event or update that we havent heard of yet.
EDIT: Ok, I just found Moltres on my GTS. I'm guessing that they will only appear on your GTS after you've encountered them.
But if they are real, what types could they be, judging by their names?
Volcanion could easily be a Fire-type of course, but any secondary typing? I've seen Water speculated for it. Diancie sounds like a Fairy type, but Hoopa...hmm?
Everywhere seems to be saying:
Diancie - Rock/Fairy
Volcanion - Fire/Water (YESS!!!)
Hoopa - Psychic/Ghost (I think, I can't remember properly)
wait, isn't there a massive GTS bug going around? maybe this is it - it's known to wipe your game like the luminose city one.
otherwise, no idea.

was this bug fixed by version 1.1 of both games or was the update what caused the issue? anybody know? I know that the update included something about improving the GTS search system.
And I think Volcanion being fire/ water is nice, but I kind of hope that it's OP but then again hope it's not OP at the same time... idk.
Actually, to avoid some misinformation here. I'm gonna provide info of this rumor/leak and how it all went down and the proof you guys can see for yourselves with Pokemon X/Y:
-Back in July (I think) before the games were in anybodies hands, we had a list of Pokemon names in Japanese that had been trademarked. As more info came out a few of those names were starting to be confirmed but by this point leakers had gotten the names, fresh info was out and the list was forgotten.
-A little bit later on, the first few reports of Zygarde came out and then pictures followed a few hours later. In the earliest moments of Zygarde being mentioned, there was doubt of Zygarde's legitimacy and the list re-emerged with people citing that 'Jigarude' was probably Zygarde.
-The list was again forgotten as the games were released and people explored things for themselves.
-Then, the list came back and people questioned the 3 remaining names on the list which had no Japanese equivalent. Here's where it gets juicy.
-A Spanish Pokemon website reveals that an extremely well-known English Pokemon fansite (I won't mention the name) had created entries for 3 Pokemon along with their English and Japanese names and their typing. Their names? Hoopa (Ghost/Psychic), Diancie (Rock/Fairy) and Volcanion (Fire/Water). The Japanese names matched the names on the Trademark list from July.
-This Spanish site then updates with screenshots of said fansite, now claiming that these pages have been removed.
-Owner of the fansite in question denies the claims and calls the screenshots fake.
-At about 2PM that day, someone told me that if you tried to access images of the removed Pokemon, you'd find that the URLs "pokemon/719.png", "pokemon/720.png" and "pokemon/721.png" would return blank placeholder images with "pokemon/722.png" returning a 404 error instead. I tried this for myself and can confirm it as true.
-At about 4-6PM the same day, word of this placeholder image is spreading fast and soon enough there are placeholder images for Pokemon all the way up to "pokemon/800.png" - Implying serious damage control.
-With that in mind, I can understand why the fansite owner would want to remove/deny these claims given TPCi's reputation for Cease and Desist orders. So I don't blame them for doing so. I do wonder though, where on earth the English names came from and where the types came from - because there seems to be no origin for this information and the fansite is normally very careful of such things before posting info..
Anyway, here's the part about the GTS:
-If you go into the GTS, you can actually put your 'looking for' text as anything - including fake Pokemon, so the screenshots above don't actually prove anything.
-However, if you go into the GTS and look for a fake Pokemon or input absolutely any text, you'll see a loading icon appear for about 3 seconds while it searches before being prompted with a 'nothing found' message. If you input the names 'Diancie', 'Hoopa' or 'Volcanion' you'll be given 'nothing found' immediately with no loading or searching. You can try this for yourselves.
So with this info, I'd say it's 95% true for sure. But the screenshots that have been circulating can easily be faked with any Pokemon name, it seems like the loading icon test is a much better way of confirming any future rumors for yourself. I'm also pretty sure the GTS patch had nothing to do with what you're able to search, though I imagine if you can literally put ANY text in there it won't be long before they remove that feature to avoid abuse.
They better look cool or I won't be pleased with all the hype.
I think Diancie will be the 'mew' of this generation (like Celebi, Jirachi, Shaymin & Victini)
Volcanion sounds like the main event one, you know, like Genesect and Arceus in the last two gens?

However, rumours have been going around that Diancie learns a move calle "Light of Ruin", which takes power from the flower weapon and fires it at the opponent. This could be connected to AZ and the Floette, in some way.
I'll just leave this here...

oh wow thats really cool!
whats with the low levels though? is it because theyre in santalune forest? (thats what it looks like, what with the forest-y background)
Apparently someone has been hacking away at the 3DS and found this.
I'm not going to go into methods obviously (not that it would be any use to us) but I guess these are not the natural environment for these Pokemon. Word is also that Mew, Celebi and Jirachi are able to be randomly encountered too but at a 1/8000 chance.
So wait, past gen event legends they are able to be encountered? Wow.

That's a rumor, at this point. The rumor is that Mew is in Santalune Forest, Celebi is in Pokemon Village/Forest and Jirachi is in Reflection Cave.
Totally unconfirmed though.
Could you possibly link to this rumor, Turner? I can't find it on google.

thats not an awful chance really, better than finding shinies.

I forgot to add, apparently you need to have seen everything in the Kalos dex for them to appear.
I can't link to the 'rumor' for a few reasons:
Firstly because all this is from a french guy who is hacking the 3DS as we speak and posting the results into a private IRC channel of a homebrew community
Secondly even if he updated his blog with the info or there was some URL I could give you, I can't link to hacking stuff here as I'm pretty sure it's against PKMN.NET's rules.
Not to mention this is the 3DS we're talking about too, so it's not something I think should be taken lightly in the vein of corocoro leaks etc. I wouldn't be simply pointing you to where latest Pokemon leaks are, I'd be linking to fresh information about hacking the 3DS which incurs a lot of very sketchy stuff and legal grey areas.
I imagine these pictures and their origins have already started circulating around various Pokemon communities by now so I'd say just start looking those up, they will probably link to his twitter where a screenshot of Mew in X/Y has been posted too and you'll find his blog from there.
Found these from a quick google search;

You know, those don't actually look too bad. If those are genuine, of course. I'm calling it: Diancie is found in Reflecting Cave(?) in that circle of pink light, Volcanion in the geothermal part of the power plant (the bit you can't get into) and Hoopla in route 20.

these are floating around, please take with a pinch of salt.
INB4 Soul Dew becomes a mega stone?
Seems there programmed into the game. Then there's no denying it anymore. These Pokemon are real, they appear in the code for both Y & X so its just down to how we obtain these and when their officially released.

HOENN REMAKES CONFIRMED
Ahem. I really like Volcanion, and Diancie looks interesting too. Not sure about Hoopa though :S
The Lati twin Megas look awesome! That's all I'll say about them.

latias and latios are literally the same design, not even different colours or anything #hellasad
edit: wait why isnt there a megastone next to their names...

I'm not posting the source for obvious reasons. But it was found amongst the other Pictures that we've seen today.
Backing up the Mew, Celebi and Jirachi?
Or, considering he's been hacking other legendaries into the game, showing Mew is still in there as well.
idk if hes been hacking them into the game though? i thought he was just digging around the game to see what pokemon were inside
unless thats not what you mean haha
I must say Joeno. I'm a bit confused at what you're trying to say.
Joeno has a point - Just because they've hacked it in doesn't mean it can be legitamately obtained, just that Nintendo has but the model in ready for banks arrival
He's using the X/Y equivalent of encounter modifier codes to have other Pokemon show up - the three new event legendaries don't show up in Santalune Forest either. He seems to have summoned Mew the same way.
Information (graphics and otherwise) of all Pokemon are in a game, even if they're not normally obtainable - for example, Keldeo's information was in Black and White before it was legally available - and with the right combination of game modifying codes or changes to the game code can be made to show up.
The guy getting these legendaries is doing the same thing, and through it is finding out that these new Pokemon are in there, but it's the same process to have another Pokemon show up. In its most basic form, it's no different than changing a 10 (Caterpie's Pokedex number) to a 151 (Mew's) or 720 (one of the new event legendaries)
The new hidden legendries look awesome I must say.
Wondering if Mega Lati@s is a scrapped concept left-in game rather than a real thing, it seems so odd that they're essientally the same by the looks of it. unless the concept is that of them merging into an orgin form or something.
They have different eyes
I'm kinda disappointed by the Lati@s thing too. I guess we know everything that's in the carts right now...except a few of the mysteries which have still gone unanswered, and also the strange souvineer doesn't seem to match any of these Pokemon like we all thought it would...Hmm..
Quite happy with all of these, curious as to how different Latias and Latios will be when we can see them from another angle. It seems the only difference is that Latios is slightly bulkier and has different eyes to Latias.

Few things I want to know, kinda unrelated to the 6th gen Mews.
1. Shiny chance rate.
2. Creepy Luminose City girl, what's her beef. If any.
3. That empty cave on the route east of Santalune. If any.
4. Fishing Chaining mechanics. And new PokeRadar mechanics if any. (Best item ever btw)
5. Any actual events where you do stuff? I mean it feels quite boring being given stuff. I liked the whole ticket process. Like travelling to an island etc.
I know blocked predicts these three to be Event only but I believe that they are secretly activated at a certain point in the post game. Perhaps being connected with the Strange Souvenir. I think the two games are hiding more secret new Pokemon that AREN'T event only. It's too soon to say that Hoopa, Diancie, and Volcarion are only given away at events and that everything is found in X and Y. It'll be six months minimum before EVERYTHING is found and people know all there is to know about Kalos and the games. Unlike other generations, we do not have the minimum six month separation between the Japan and other regional release dates and the time formerly given to discover the games' secrets.
I also believe the Latias/os new form thing is quite a big hint at R/S/E remake. Although it's said a lot, because of the fanboys but this new Latias/os thing is like :O
Also gutted no Mega Swampert or Mega Sceptile as of yet :(
Blaziken is the Charizard for people that got into Pokemon after 2nd gen. -.-

how dare you diss Blaziken, I'm sure a certain pair of users here will be on to you like houndsJokes aside (or was I really joking?!?), I'm sure you aren't the only one thinking that the Lati twins could be a hint at a remake. Still, I haven't seen many people say that it might be a hint...
I don't think there will be mega-evolutions of Swampert or Sceptile in X/Y, we would have them revealed by now. Though you could say that the next two events could be Mudkip with Swampertite and a Treecko with a Sceptite...
if the mega stone names are correct, you know where you heard it first ;) It's all up to how long it takes for the hackers to unravel the coding fully, because they may well be coded into the game. There's the character who seems to want to see Genesect, but no-one has that in Gen 6 yet. What that could give us is probably in the coding.
^On the same topic of Genesect, a punk girl wants to see Kyurem in Kilode City and in Snowbelle City, an Ace Trainer will teach Meloetta and Keldeo their signature moves.
