Title: What do you resolve?
Post by: SirBlaziken on December 31, 2014, 04:03
It's almost the new year, so it's time to make a resolution that none of us will actually keep.

What's yours?

I usually don't make resolutions, but when I go back to school since it's not gonna be too cold to walk to the gym I'm gonna get back onto my gym grind. I'm also probably gonna invest in vitamins to see if I can see better results from working out too. I'm not really trying to build bulk but I'm still not able to do a full legit push up because my arms suck, so I gotta get that covered.

I don't usually bother with resolutions because I never keep them but since I'm going to be 30 in the summer (gulp) I should probably attempt to sort my life out.

I just hope that I'm a better person by the end of the year.

I'll start by using the phrase "Roll on" and go on about how 2015 is going to be an awesome year.

Then in November I'll moan about how crap the year was and say something along the lines of "Roll on 2016 hope it'll be better"

Then repeat every year.

Eating way healthier (as in no longer having cookies for lunch most days xD), but this won't last past 10th January.

I resolved to put myself first more often, especially at work, where everyone else I work with already does that leaving me with hours of their work when I show up for night shift.

I feel bad about leaving things for other people, especially if it's something I should be able to accomplish. But given the toll it's been taking on me (working 12 and 13 hour shifts hauling stock and cleaning up after day staff) and the stress I've been under at home the past couple of months, I think it's time someone else take some responsibility.

To put on two stone and do something with my life other than work and sleep.  :c
As part of this plan PUK now counts as socialising.

You can have two stone of mine if you want. I'm trying to get back into dieting and it is the worst. All I want to do is eat.

^ I bought some raspberry ketones from Holland and Barrett that work quite well. Take one with breakfast and one with dinner. They're a very light fat burner and appetite suppressant in one pill*.

*Must be said that these pills should NOT be a substitute for good eating and exercise. They just help, and are NOT a 'quick fix' to weight loss

Well I've made a good start with a wide selection of hobnobs and chocolate before bed. :)

Peanut Butter (or Nutella, but peanut butter works better) on toast seems like a great snack for trying to put on weight. Nuts are ridiculously high in calories, as it's all fats and oils, and obviously bread is all carbohydrates. Tbh nuts in general seem like a good thing for you to be eating.
