I can't remember who it was, but someone else on this forum came up with this idea the other day. I've slightly expanded on it.
This is for when Sun/Moon are released.
Pokemon: Machamp
Ability: No Guard
Moves: Fissure (must have 6 PP)
'Nuff said!
Everyone should have a flying type on their team at all times to counter it, just in case one shows up in a competitive battle.
That's the dumbest idea I've ever heard. NEXT!

I'm a bit confused... could you explain what this is about?
Basically, No Guard is an ability which makes all moves hit with perfect accuracy.
Combine that with a one-hit KO move like Fissure and you can't lose!
That Machamp needs speed and bulk to deal with Fairy types. Also Pressure Wailord with its marginally better base 60 speed outlasting 6 PP Fissure using Protect and Substitute. Then again Wailord doesn't usually get speed EV's, so you might be in luck there.
Okay then maybe Dugtrio with Arena Trap and Protect + Substitute could do something about Machamp. Or Mega Gengar can use Destiny Bond anticipating Fissure/Knock Off. I know little about competitive play, I'm just playing devil's advocate. Anyway smogon might just go ahead and ban Machamp if a single Pokémon manipulates every team to have a flying type at all times
I have a way to stop it short here: OHKO moves are banned in competitive play.
Also if you're of lower lever you're out of luck.

Oh, that's right! Oh well, it's still fun to imagine Fissure Machamp wrecking everything if that weren't the case.
I guess Machamp can still destroy almost everything in the ingame or VGC or battles that don't follow smogon rules.
I did a little experiment with my Diamond version since I have many action replay codes for it that I could use, and it seems that a No Guard Machop with Fissure can hit every time, unless I'm fighting a flying type or a Pokemon of a higher level.
Some people have said on other sites that No Guard doesn't work with one-hit KO moves, I've proved them wrong.
I'm going to slaughter the entirety of Sun/Moon when it comes out!
You're still an idiot. do you realize how many people have a flying type on their teams anyway just for fly? ANYBODY can counter that.
calm down let him have his fun, gimmicks like no guard machop are pretty cool for ingame

I like using gimmick moves like Tri-Attack on Fearow too, the status effects the move inflicts can be useful.
I Know something that'll stop you! Eelektross. it has levitate. and acrobatics
Since noone has mentioned it, I will explain how to get the move. Gen 1 games for Virtual Console are compatible with Pokémon Bank, so we can use the Fissure TM from those games. We can't use Bank with Sun/Moon yet though, so the move is still not legal.
Getting good IVs may be a problem as well if you're using the real games and not a simulator, since Gen 1 does not have breeding. Glitches have remained intact though apparently, so it might be possible to get good IVs through glitching.
