Well, some of your Pokemons moves are status. Either you battle a different way to me (all out offensive) or you haven't leveled them up enough to teach them better moves.

Jolteon:

It's moveset is OK. Personally, I'd remove flash after you've been everywhere, since you can just fly. Maybe switch thunder wave for shock wave.

Nidoking:

Earthquake is an awesome move. Ice beam also gives you more type coverage (against dragon types) strength is OK. Someone's got to learn it.... And toxic. I'd personally give it a more offensive move, but toxic is OK.

Charizard:

Nice moveset! Flamethrower and hyper beam is cool. Maybe replace slash for something more powerful. Fly is there for obvious reasons.

Starmie:

Moveset is OK. One thing I must moan about.... It only has one water type attack. Maybe replace recover with water gun or bubble beam or something. Usually if you use recover, the opponent takes out half your health anyway.

Dragonite:

No idea what substitute does. But the rest of the moveset is OK. Except one move. Double team. Maybe give it a dragon type move.

Snorlax:

Moveset is OK. I guess counter does the same amount of damage to the opponent that you just took.

These are just my opinions and what I would do. But you probably have a different battle style to me, so you don't have to listen to me!

dont replace recover with watergun. its useful. double team on dragonite... not so much, but you have explained to me that you like evasive parties (i think you did, anyway) so its not too much of a shocker. is it better back in that gen? a healing move on dragonite would be cool but not required.

*Reads thread* Not using pikachu in a game where that's the exact purpose? Someone's going tryhard. *goes back to being a purist*

Oh, and do what poison said.

Can't remove HMs in this gen, move deleter didn't exist until gen 2, and TMs were a one time use until
gen 5.

UPDATE!
Name Master, shock wave didn't exist until gen 3, Pokemon Yellow is gen 1.

'No idea what substitute does' Substitute makes a copy of you that the opponents attack instead for some health. it's great if you have A: a recovery move or B: focus punch. It's a great move sometimes.

Good team, very balanced in typings. though you may want to have a substitute water type until you get your level 25 Kabutops to get to Cinnabar. (I don't have anything against kabutops, it's a great pokemon if you want to grind on it to your level at that point in the game. I consider these things in my playthrough and i can say that i don't have the patience for that much grinding.)

I got Kabuto at level 30. I'm actually surprised about that! I'm not sure about Primape though..... Should I keep it?
