Well, the football league kicked off yesterday (and the SPL) and the other leagues around Europe and the rest of the world are ongoing or set to kick off soon. What are you hoping to see this season? What are you excited for?
I reckon that the Premier league is going to be one of the most interesting yet, for a number of reasons. Primarily, with Sir Alex Ferguson retiring and Moyes taking the helm at Manchester United there will be a lot of anticipation as to whether they can have any success this season. I doubt they're going to win the prem. this season, but not because of Moyes but because of the strength that Chelsea and The bitters will bring this year. The bitters and Chelsea have had a change in managers too, and Mourinho's return will certainly be interesting.
Huge transfers around Europe already, and there's still a month to go. Falcao, Cavani and Higuain all moving around for blockbuster fees. Will Bale follow?
Discuss bellow~
Well, I'm looking forward to seeing Stoke play better football.
Also, I'm interested in seeing the tons of new signings play at their best levels, like Navas, Fernandhino, etc.
I would like Bale to stay where he is. He's a great player and he lit up the Premier League last season.
Hopefully, I think that all of the promoted sides have a good shot at all staying up, but I think Hull are well enough to fight all the way.
I was very excited to see the Football League in its 125th year kick off yesterday. Even better to see my beloved Walsall (who also celebrated 125 years this week) win against Tranmere.
Yeah. There's going to be a lot of Football League news coming from me. I reckon watching the lower leagues is much better than watching the Premier League.
Aubameyang scored a hat-trick in Dortmund's opening game of the season. I really hope he does well, cracking player.
I had him on FIFA last year for Birmingham City. Beast player.
Gutted to say we lost the Community shield to United last weekend, but hoping for a win at Bournemouth today to change that. We got a fairly easy run in to life back in the Championship with us beating Barnsley 4-0 opening day, Bournemouth today and Doncaster on Tuesday, we have a great chance of getting 9 points and putting some goals on the board.
Well, deadline day is very nearly upon us. I think I'm gonna keep Sky Sports News on as long as humanly possible. Hoping Stoke can sign someone else. Otherwise, looking forward to it. Though I've heard some papers say that Bale's sale could initiate a £500m spree...pffff I don't think so.
Well pleased with Stoke yesterday, Pennant is finally getting his chance to play more. That and we are actually attacking away from home...
Otherwise, hoping for a cracker in the London derby. I predicted 2-2 with Giroud x2, Soldado and Vertonghen...so far, it looks good for that prediction..
^ Ashley Hemmings goal for us against you on Wednesday was a cracker :P
Our first few games didn't go as I thought with 2 wins, 2 draws and lose under our belt was hoping we'd have a couple more points and goals at this point. Also the fact we've drawn Rubin Kazan means we've got a long away trip in the Europa league which of course will effect our Championship form, as much as I'd love us to go back up this season I think play offs will be our best hope of achieving that at the moment.
Well, Mesut Ozil is now an Arsenal player. Hmmm...Giroud or Podolski / Ozil could be a force this season.
I'm just really curious about how Tottenham will do now, with the likes of Eriksen, Soldado and Lamela in the side. That, and Townsend looks like he will be a great player in a few seasons. Top 4 looks like a realistic finish for Tottenham now, depending on how quickly the team gel.
As for Stoke...well, I've heard Arnautovic is like a mini-Balotelli in some respects, so he had better be sorted out by Hughes. Also, I'm hoping that Ireland will do well too. I'm hoping that Pennant and Jones become great players. Pennant's free-kick against West Ham was similar to Toure's against Hull. Hoping both players can be top class for Stoke. 6 points and 5th place is awesome for us.
So Martin Jol is playing Sidwell despite Boateng and Karagounis being on the bench. No wonder we're not playing well. Sidwell is bloody pish.
Don't care what happens for your clubs this week. We beat the Wolves last night and I'm STILL buzzing.
0-0 draw for us in Belgium, should hopefully get 3 points against Ispwich tomorrow, but I can see us being ever so consistent and losing. -_-
This Manchester derby is absolutely hilarious.
I'm almost feeling sorry for 'em.
There'll be questions asked of Moyes, that's for sure.
Arsene Wenger moaned yet again about Ramsey's bloody leg before the match, and Ramsey happened to score and beat us 3-1.
I'm getting so sick of Arsenal fans having a go at us for a three-and-a-half year old tackle. It may have broke his leg, but I've seen pictures showing the leg was already buggered before Shawcross touched him. That, and Shawcross was very upset about what happened and he was sorry about it too. Forgive and forget...but this is football...*sigh*
Shawcross has broken other players' legs though, and has a reputation for reckless and dirty tackles.
Lee Hughes, Adabayor, Marlon King, Joey Barton, all still get booed and judged for things they did ages ago.
Edit: Looks like Moyes is getting sacked in the morning.
*reboots*
Stoke 1-0 up away against Man United? *faints*
That's all I wanted to say.
And instantly after I say this, guess what happens...
Jeez! Pinch me, Arnautovic bends a free-kick over the wall and under the bar to make it 2-1 Stoke!
Aaaaand we lost. 3-2. Still, that's the first time we've ever done well at Old Trafford, and for some time we looked comfortable! Hopefully the reverse fixture will give us all three points.
QuoteStoke 1-0 up away against Man United? *faints*
Fergie must be loving it. Gives him the opportunity to rip some more players to shreds in his next book. Etc, etc, etc.
Yeah, about Fergie. All those players that helped bring him all that success and now he's slagging them off. But now he's getting all that backlash. No one's scared of him anymore, and it shows.
So Borini actually did something of note today.
Woah, this is a really weird season after all.
^ It was a very good goal, it has to be said.
Begovic is currently Stoke's joint-top scorer, thanks to wind and a bloody big kick. He's the 5th Goalie to score in the Premier League apparently...goal of the season
It won't be goal of the season as let's be fair everyone on match of the day have no clue when it comes to picking a good goal.
It's got to be Wilshere's for pure teamwork or Kasami's for a piece of individual magic (so far... Only October ;)).

It's the same BBC that picked Rooney's overhead kick as the best goal of the Prem ever considering Matt Le Tissier and Pappis Cisse scored MUCH better ones.
It'll be Wilshere unless something else comes along.
Kasami's goal is the best so far, there should be separate awards for team and individual goals though
^ Maybe, but I think Wilshere's would still win both.
Wilshere's wasn't an individual goal, that was about the build up
Kasami's was incredible technique, wonderful solo effort
Bendtner scored
lord Jesus christ and mary mother of god bloodfire
Suarez scored a screamer just, I'll need to see it
Our game is dull
EDIT: Suarez sure loves Norwich
Suarez giving out the Ed Edd and Eddy to Norwich this is upsetting.
Piss off Swansea :(
So close
bloody spurs :(
Bloody Shelvey and his egghead
Oh dear Stoke.
Jeez, goals almost everywhere tonight. Sunderland 3 - 4 Chelsea, Liverpool 5 - 1 Norwich...
Well England have got a tough group, very tough first game at 99% humidity against a team who's much better at possession retention than us
I'm just going to leave this here...

Great result today for Fulham. If we played like that every week we'd be up at the top with the best of them.
Newcastle Christmas party in Dublin!

Guess the players!
Welbeck and Cleverly scored today. Welbeck scored twice. It's just one of those days.
I feel very sorry for AVB and Spurs fans right now
Anyone catch MotD last night? Henry looked suave as hell; him Shearer and Lineker together was powerful whew
...Aaaand Mackay joins the list of sackings. That is...well, over I suppose, for now.
It's an interesting sacking, Malky did spend £35m on players but Vincent Tan's expectations were extremely unrealistic, rumour has it he wanted the club to get European football :hah:
Wouldn't be surprised if Malky goes to WBA noow
Btw Spriter, you support Stoke right? Ref was so bad in the game on Boxing Day lol
Massive fixtures tomorrow, extremely nervous since we've been on a great run and I think Arsenal will be just too much for us
Good 3 points against Norwich on boxing day, Hull is a winnable game as well too today!
It'd be a massive win for you, it's so tight at the bottom. With Palace and now Sunderland picking up wins every team needs to be wary. It's weird how much of a divide there is where it's really close at the bottom, mid table gap and then really close at the top. Crazy season.

Hope you can do Liverpool a favour, we need someone to drop points after boxing day, and definitely need something against Chelsea.
West Ham vs West Brom was such a good game, glad I watched it. West Brom were unlucky to win, Berahino hit the post with a cracking free kick. He's looking like a right good player, his hold up play and movement is top class. A point a piece sort of suits me because neither will start pulling away and as long as West Ham aren't winning their home games I'm not too scared.
Norwich are battering Man Utd, who look nervous, like they have for a lot of the season. A couple good pieces of play from Norwich but not the best of matches. :(
Fulham really need to up it in the second half, otherwise we'll go home empty handed.
Anelka offending the jews lol
It was weird, I was slating him yesterday for being useless at WBA
Sorry Liam but Fulham suck lol
So it's 4-0
I know Hull are pretty good at home but this just isn't acceptable.
Even Huddlestone's getting a haircut now.
:(
Huddlestone scored? Nooooooo lol
Btw

Said this on another forum to Liverpool fans before the City game; you should aim for a point. Mourinho has played for the draw against the big teams all season. Getting fourth would be a great achievement for you this season and could keep Suarez at the club.
I agree. I'd like to say it's winnable, but you're right about how mourinho's playing it. Might get lucky and nick it, but I'd take a point. We also don't have the depth to keep up with city, chelsea or arsenal, so I'd take fourth tbf.
I think the big difference for you this year is that you're beating the smaller teams that you were drawing with before with the likes of Henderson and Sturridge stepping up. Coutinho whilst inconsistent can be very good and Suarez is Suarez lol
Sahko's been a bit of a waste though, £18m is ridiculous.
5-0
you're taking the piss
Huddlestone's goal celebration should be added to FIFA15 tbh

Agree with your first point, but i don't agree about Sakho. It's probably too much money, but everyone said the same about henderson last year. Give him a bit of time I think.
True but I think Henderson was always a signing for development whereas Sahko was bought to immediately improve the squad. Granted he does need acclimatisation time but I don't think he did enough in France to justify the price tag (then again we got Yanga-Mbiwa who was incredible in Ligue 1 and yeah...)
Still think you'd be better off starting Agger, I rate him highest of your CBs.
I disagree, Sakho was bought partly as an immediate improvement simply because you need a centreback at a certain level, but he's still young. He's looked good apart from a tendency to make stupid mistakes, but tbf it seems most of our defence has been doing that so far this season. I also rate agger, but iirc he's ill or coming back from illness.
I'm liking the look of that Flanagan boy, hope he gets more game time.
Walsall beaten on Boxing Day, no change there then.
If I was a Cardiff fan I'd start boycotting. Vincent Tan has too many expectations and guaranteed he'll fire the next bloke who doesn't get them into the top four.
Malky McKay gets the team promoted to the Prem AND makes an FA Cup final. Yes, £35m is a lot of cash, but for a newly promoted side Cardiff are doing well. There's no need. Too many clubs are quick to sack managers.

Whilst I agree with that to an extent I'd understand if it was say £10m but £18m is a huge amount. Next season will be huge for him depending on what you achieve this year
Massive day today, my hope has led me to use a £5 free bet on us to win 2-1 D:
man united tho
Tim Sherwood the next Fergie tbh
Revolutionary 4-4-2
Need to see Nolan's sending off later, sounds pretty funny
We are definitely a revitalized team under Uwe Rosler 5 games in the league with three wins and a draw, can definitely see us clawing our way back our promotion hopes under him this season.

Right...transfer window is open, we need a striker now. A good one.
The stupid thing about Tan is that he's apparently willing to give Ole £25M to spend on players when he criticised Mackay for saying he hoped to sign three players...
Also, Pennant...y u concede penalty? Nolan and Debuchy's red cards were silly ones to get as well.
Lastly...Huth is back in training. YAY!
Today in scoring twice Cristiano Ronaldo has now surpassed Brazilian Ronaldo for total club career goals. Such a monumental achievement. Can't wait to see him the Ballon D'or again.
Wonder if Man United will finally use the transfer window to plug the leaky defense and/or get a decent creative midfielder.
Nah, they'll probably get another striker...

EDIT: Fair play to Thomas Hitzlsperger
QuoteDavid Moyes said it was "scandalous" Manchester United were not awarded a late penalty in their Premier League defeat by Tottenham at Old Trafford.
Ah, those double standards exhibited by people at Man United again.
Referees aren't scared of you anymore, deal with it.
Negredo's turning out to be such a good signing
^ A beast signing. Can see him being there for a while.
Yes Ronaldo finally got that 2nd Ballon D'or!!!!
Was such an emotional win too! And afterwards him and Messi were actually really humble to each other
Zlatan and Klopp's convo during an interview was great too!
^ Messi's just being a good guy and letting Ronaldo have it just this once.
Chelsea beat Man United.
And some have threatened to change sides. Glory hunting plastics...

What. The. Hell.
Also saw that Walsall are now winning 5-0. Ouch.

They won 5-4.

It's because we're too big for that league :P
Arsenal were torn to shreds in the first 20 minutes, holy moly. I am surprised neither Skrtel or Sterling got a hat trick, but it was an entertaining game.
Liverpool 5 - 1 Arsenal
What happened to Arsenal yesterday? I haven't seen a match that one sided since City demolished United.
I heard about that one on ESPN. I don't know much about this, but isn't Arsenal a good team?
Arsenal have been top of the league for most of the season. They are also the only Premier League team to go all 38 games unbeaten.
But then again, Man City smashed Man United 6-1 a couple of years ago, and United are the biggest team in that league. Plus Liverpool's top two of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge have been on top form. It's a bit like the Washington Capitals, whose only top player is Ovechkin, absolutely destroying a team of some of the top name NHL players.
Arsenal missed out on buying Draxler, and it's showing.
Um..... I don't watch hockey. Sorry. But I think I got enough of that post to understand that.
Hockey's the only sport outside of Football and F1 I have any vague knowledge about, that's why I went for it :P
Fulham equalising against United in injury time. Hilarious.
I'm in a rather good mood after this weekend's results. Yeah, Blaze, Arsenal are the top team in the league, so even though Liverpool are doing well, we shouldn't have won it 5-1, I'm still having trouble understanding how that happened. Knowing us, we'll lose to Fulham on Wednesday, but for now I'm going to enjoy this.
Man United fans aren't in a good mood though >.<
No they are not. This has contributed to my good mood.

Most football teams have rivalries with more than one side too.
Manchester United- The bitters Liverpool, Leeds
Liverpool- Everton, Man United
Chelsea- Arsenal, Tottenham
Aston Villa- West Bromwich Albion, Birmingham City
Wolverhampton Wanderers- Walsall, West Brom, Villa
Sheffield Wednesday- Leeds, Sheffield United, Bradford, Rotherham
Lincoln City- Sc**thorpe, Grimsby Town
Portsmouth- Southampton, Brighton and Hove Albion
And so on.

So, Southampton dumped out of the cup thanks to a Craig Gardner belter, and Jovetic and Nasri put Chelsea down...
But today, Arsenal v Liverpool again but at the Emirates. Only 8 days after the 5-1 drubbing.
Pretty much expecting Arsenal to win
The Everton game is pretty decent. Traore's goal is a decent little backheel.
I'm not too worried about losing it tbh, more worried about trying to get 4th. FA Cup is always nice, but I can live without it.
So Fulham are doing well lmao
Felix Magath is one crazy fella LOL
City have parked the bus, but not enough it seems
Rooney's just put pen to paper on a 300k a week deal. United must be desperate to keep him.
So this got me thinking- With Real Madrid forking out all that money for Bale, and Rooney and Ronaldo picking up extortionate wage packets each week. It's made me think it's about time football took a leaf out of the American sport systems and impose a salary cap and maybe a trade system.
Here's how it works: The salary cap for the NHL (As an example) is $60m. Meaning that you only really get one (if not two) real stars at a team. $60m is also a hard cap, meaning that once you're over it, you will have to trade players with other teams to balance the books.
So the trade system. In football this would have to be within the leagues (Prem, Championship, League One, La Liga etc). If Liverpool find they've got a surplus of defenders and not enough midfielders, they can trade amongst other teams. So let's say Liverpool need a midfielder, and it just so happens that Newcastle are in the market for a defender. Liverpool reckon Daniel Agger is surplus to requirement and they say "We'll give you Agger in exchange for Ben Arfa". Newcastle would consider it, Agger's okay, but they might be reluctant to give up a decent player. So they'd go "No, but in exchange for Agger we'll give you Sissoko and Obertan" Sorted.
The total wage value of Sissoko and Obertan is £1m (say), which would push Liverpool over the wage cap. But since Agger was on 3mil a year, it gets rid of a surplus player who was being paid a lot, got two extra players AND it frees up 2m on Liverpool's wage bill.
"But what if a team in the Prem wants a player from the championship/league one?"
Draft system. At the beginning of each season, each team in each league picks players from a lower league, or an under 21 player from the same league. The league winner (in the prem) or in the case of the lower leagues, two playoff losers based on league position pick last, and the three/four promoted teams pick first with the rest of the teams pick in order of league position reversed. Relegated teams will pick after promoted teams.
Ideally, this way the playing field will be leveled, and it means all the teams have a realistic chance of getting a shot of winning the title. Also stops the richer and bigger teams winning every year and lessens the gulf between the bigger and smaller teams.
More importantly, it stops the smaller teams going bust. Football for all.
Obviously, it will take a smarter man than me to implement this, there's a few holes but at least the concept exists. Imagine someone like Van Persie playing for Leicester? The league owns the players, not the clubs. So if a trade happens, it happens. No givsies backsies.
Trade system wouldn't work, said for a while a salary cap should be imposed because teams will find loopholes in the UEFA FFP ruling or whatever it is
City didn't park the bus against Barcelona until the red
Man United 2-0 down against Olympiakos.

Good luck winning the title now Arsenal, the fixture list looks nasty for you...
Stoke beating Arsenal is always my favourite sort of match, just cos it's so funny.
This time we did you a favour :P
So City win the Capital One Cup...
It was so close too for so long. Why didn't you cross fletcher?!?
So glad City won. The first two goals were so great (Borini's was a great finish too tbf)
Toure, what a screamer of a strike.
The Sun have said on the weekend they will release an exclusive that one player in the England team is a homosexual
Both Luke Shaw and Ashley Cole have denied it's them too
More importantly: Why is it any of The Sun's business? Let the player decide how to break the news.
You can all shove your Premier League/FA Cup action tomorrow. It's all about the Black Country Derby.
Apparently it was mutually decided by the player and the paper to disclose it this way
Unless ofc they're making it up to boost interest in their paper which I wouldn't put it past them

It's rather stupid, coming out in sport is a big thing but it really shouldn't be. I'd imagine telling friends and family about it would be hard enough, but that's amplified when you bring in club teammates and international teammates.
Looking forward to tomorrow, big match up at the top between Chelsea and Spurs. Should be quite a tight one.
Whoever it is Roy Hodgson could make a real statement to the sporting and football world by taking that player to Brazil, by showing that sexuality doesn't matter and all that matters is footballing ability could really turn the sports views on it around.
I'm sure Paddy Power's already taking bets on it...
Is it Cleverley?
I hope not. If he gets dropped for not being good enough there'll be a load of unnecessary controversy.
I reckon it's one of Welbeck or the Ox (if it's true)
Spriter's completely right though, it shouldn't be a big deal and hopefully in the future it will become not much of a big deal. There's too much focus on private lives.

Tbf if it's the keepers I'm thinking of they were under no pressure, not trying to score, and not volleying. That's why I'd say it's more impressive than Beckham's.
Begovic had the wind to blame for his goal
The technique was quite insane though.
We are all forgetting Tettey's blinding volley though. That was amazing.
Tettey's goal was better than Rooney's I reckon.

Things got interesting then, I think I fancy Liverpool for the title like a lot of others do :P
Hillsborough tributes were fitting, as well.
And holy crap, Stoke are 3 points off Newcastle :O
^ That's because we're terrible now our best player has gone. And if anyone says Remy because of injury then they don't understand football.
Sunderland beat Chelsea, gives Liverpool some breathing space.
Shame Moyes is getting fired (if the heavy rumours are believed to be true)
Yeah, it's gonna be weird watching Man United sack managers like everyone else.
Interesting to see if Fergie can overrule the Glazers. I think he's still got a lot of power at the club.
Apparently Giggs is going to be the replacement. Interesting...
Ian Holloway! Ian Holloway!
Well, he has actually been sacked. Giggs has also, as it was rumoured, been put in charge for now.
van Gaal and Klopp are apparently favourites to take over too...thoughts?
Atletico Madrid v Chelsea tonight, so that should be entertaining.
Klopp's already ruled himself out of the job, probably because he's just waiting until the Arsenal one becomes available
van Gaal could be risky, plus there were rumours of him to Spurs for next season
Atletico to win I reckon, surprised Costa came back from injury so quickly
I reckon that the leaked rumours about his sacking pressured Moyes into being sacked, I thought they'd at least give him the whole season.
Possibly, either way there was a lot of what needed doing with that squad which Fergie neglected (the midfield mainly) and Moyes, whilst trying, didn't address it in the right way. It was always going to be a transition period but having lost the locker room, some of his staff (looking at you Giggs) and the fans, I think the sacking was inevitable. Shame really.
Chelsea going very defensive looking at their line up; could be an interesting tactical battle.
United spent too much time chasing Fabregas and ended up getting Fellaini and Mata in a panic.

Thiago was the main one they missed out on, would have been a decent signing. Fellaini was a panic, Herrera if he had joined would have been too. Fabregas was an interesting one, still think if he ever leaves Barcelona it will be to return to Arsenal.
Mata was definitely not a panic. I wonder if with the new full time manager he'll get to play in the #10 role.
EDIT: Real Madrid winning woooo
Liverpool v Chelsea this weekend then. I'm actually pretty excited to see how it turns out, but I can only really see Liverpool going and winning it.
A draw would actually be enough for Liverpool, if they go and win the rest after...
I'm actually going to the game, should be a great game, which of course means it will be a thrilling 0-0. I really hope we can win it, though I still don't trust us to win our remaining games. Tbf if we actually win the league it'll be about 14 wins in a row or something ridiculous like that, so if we pull that off I reckon we deserve to win.
If Liverpool beat Chelsea then it's as good as won.
It'd be really special if Chelsea won via a Torres last minute winner tbh
It'll probably be Ba starting so it's possible
RIP Tito Vilanova

I believe Liverpool's run in is Chelsea at home, Crystal Palace away (that could be a tricky one knowing what they did to Chelsea) and Newcastle at home (this could be a win in the bag, considering how bad they've been doing recently). I'd say that's as good as theirs, as long as they get on the front foot early in each match.
If Liverpool need to win against Newcastle to secure the title though...that could be a really entertaining match.

no matter what it'll be a terrible match ;;
So Giggs went to Norwich and smashed them
Ronaldo scored two screamers
Two Everton own goals
that's about it
Gerrard says to his players "Don't -ahem- slip" a week or so ago
Gerrard slips, costing them the game
lol
Looks like it's really going to the final day.
Man City can now secure the title if they win their remaining games, unless Liverpool do the same and score tons. Their goal difference is what, 8 lower than Man City's? This is gonna be interesting.
The only people that can really stop them are Everton, who are chasing Champions League football.
It's going to be a good end to the season, but I really want Liverpool to win it.
Palace away could be tough for Liverpool depending on how well they bounce back. The big players for them today really didn't step up either.
Everton game will be interesting, if City start as well as they did today they'll be fine.
Btw the team of the year is disappointing.
Cech
Coleman Cahill Kompany Shaw
Lallana Gerrard Toure Hazard
Sturridge Suarez
should be
De Gea
Coleman Terry Koscielny Azpilicueta
Lallana Ramsey Toure Hazard
Sturridge Suarez
Or if Ramsey only playing half the season isn't good enough then Schneiderlin
Schneiderlin is underrated. I saw him play against Walsall (my club) at the Bescot the year they got promoted from League One.
Our only saving grace was Richard Taundry injured him after fifteen minutes. He tore us apart, and after he went off they weren't the same.
We won the match ;)
He's transitioned up the leagues extremely well. Wouldn't be surprised if one of the bigger clubs picked him up.
Would be a good fit at Liverpool if Gerrard decides to call it quits on his career
Well Madrid are tearing Bayern apart lol
Ronaldo best player in the world right now
Bale worth every penny
Now the attention will shift over to who they'll face...
I don't know really, Chelsea would see Mourinho facing off against his old club whilst Atletico Madrid would make for an interesting match...
Either way Real are winning
said for the past few years they would and this year's the year
Ronaldo v Mourinho in Lisbon is more interesting though, especially with how Real brushed aside Atletico in the Copa Del Rey
Chelsea 1-3 Atletico Madrid
All-Spanish final this year then, it seems!

That's what they were saying last season though, it's actually quite astounding that Ronaldo at 29 now has still maintained that magic level whereas Messi has dipped slightly again.
Both top 20 OAT though, very similar placings too. Neither is far better than the other. Ronaldo's just slightly better at the moment.
Anyone else doing the Panini Online Sticker Album? I've got over 70% now but I've still not got Messi or Ronaldo smh
Simeone's got to get European manager of the year. Surely.
I genuinely feel sorry for Valencia now. 2-0 down in the first leg and 3-0 up in the second...only to concede in the last minute of stoppage time D:

plus Mbia's goal in the first leg was so far offside
Really wish I put that bet on Benfica to win the EL, been saying the whole season it's between them and Napoli.

Will do, sensational job. It's crazy to think that Torres was his captain at Atletico Madrid during his playing days though...
Oh my gosh that was incredible for a final day of Championship football.
^ You can say that again
Ameobi scored, it's his last home game for the club :(
Well, Fulham are going down! :(
at least I'll get to go to charlton with me mates now ahahaha
Fulham and Cardiff officially down
sorry Liam :(
sorry we thumped Fulham
Man, Sunderland winning against Man United...they're almost single-handedly relegating the bottom three (with a bit of help of course).
The Birmingham City match was nail biting stuff
What the hell is going on
Liverpool were 3-0 up, I checked half an hour later and it finished 3-3! :O
Crystal Palace / Pulis loves messing with the title race.
Huge win for Man City
Sunderland safe, Norwich pretty much down. Shame.
Liverpool will be hoping for West Ham to do them a favour tomorrow. But if Liverpool do win, I doubt we'll ever hear the end of it.
"We deseeeeeeeehhhhrve it! It's justice feh the 96" and so on, so forth.
Cabaye got injured today in PSG's game against Lille, hope he's not out of the world cup, but it's his achilles so...
Cabaye's not going to the World Cup. Looks like France aren't going to be my second country for the competition.
EDIT: Turns out he is! Same for Sissoko, Debuchy and Remy. Remy Cabella (who we were linked with in January) is on standby for them though.
Congrats Atletico! What a deserved win!!
(and arsenal i guess, woo)
Shame that Hull didn't win. Still, Hull getting into Europe is pretty funny.
Now Atletico have the UCL to try and fight for. If they don't have Turan and Costa for that then they'll struggle, in my opinion.
Ramsey is too good. I really wish him and Bale played for England, both would walk into the side :(
Happy for Atletico, they deserve the league. Hope Ronaldo's fully fit and drives Real to CL victory though.

Bale just about plays for us he's consistently "injured" come international day.

tbf he's had injury problems for a while. It makes his 20+ goals this season more impressive.
Plus he's easily the best British footballer now. He'd walk into the teams of most countries.

Agreed I love having him in the squad, an outstanding player! I just feel if we were a more successful country he'd play for us a bit more often.

it's a shame really that you got drawn with Bosnia and Belgium for the 2016 Euro qualifiers because if given a nicer draw you could have qualified with Bale and Ramsey regularly playing. The way Bale tore apart Iceland was great to watch.
Both Bale and Ramsey would walk into the England squad.

Imagine in the future a team of
Sturridge
Bale Barkley Sterling
Ramsey Wilshere
Shaw Stones Jones Clyne
Hart
Would be pretty toppers

We've got a chance of making it through the play off in the group if we finish 3rd, Coleman is useless sadly so I won't keep my hopes up.

depends who you'd be drawn against. Coleman's not useless but he's not great either. Should get Giggs in lel
Pochettino is off to Spurs then. Seems like a good move, but who can Southampton bring in to replace him? Personally, I fancy Laudrup to come in and keep Southampton going, for some reason.
Also, I am pretty happy with Stoke now. Mame Diouf could be pretty good for us, and if we get Assaidi, we will do well next season. Depends who we bring in other than Assaidi / Diouf / Bardsley (don't know how well he'll do).
Watched France's friendly against Norway last night and they looked pretty solid. I fancy them to do alright in the World Cup to be honest, some great players in that team.
Thought I'd drop this in here...

Immobile to sign for Dortumund, dunno if he can fill Lewy's shoes tbh.
Immobile was pretty awesome last season tbf, Juventus should have bought the other half though
so everyone was talking about danny blind possibly moving to manchester united, and i thought that it could be a bit of a risky signing because he's playing in, well, not the best league. However, that performance against spain, and the passes he put in throughout the game, especially for the first and second goals were genuinely brilliant, reckon he could move to a big club this summer??
I can see that signing happening
Shame he can't
Still shocks me how he saw that first assist
Must be tough being Blind; Daley
EDIT: Apparently Higuaín is off to Barcelona according to Marca... yikes
