But then you reach a brick wall. You have the breeding groups for just Ruby and Sapphire (you do if you visit the RS section anyway), but now there are a grand total of 386, it's all change.

You have three options. The first is to run around like a headless chicken panicking. The second is to use trial and error and hope for the best. The third (and bestest) option is to simply scroll down and view the FRLG breeding groups! Printing it out wouldn't be a bad idea.

Just remember that Pokemon can only breed with Pokemon who are in their groups (some Pokemon are in more than one group), Pokemon in Group X can't produce eggs no matter how hard you plead with them, and Ditto will breed with anything that is breedable to produce a baby. It's a darling, really.

NOTE: For Wobbuffet to produce a baby Wynaut, it must be holding the Lax Incense. For Marill or Azumarill to produce a baby Azurill it must be holding the Sea Incense.
