On Route 114 lies Meteor Falls. Home to some exclusive Pokemon, and some pretty cool items and TMs. The first time youll visit Meteor Falls, is when you follow Team Magma/ Team Aqua there. Team Magma/ Aqua are there with Prof. Cozmo, and are trying to steal a Meteorite for their latest scam.

After all that has been cleared up, its a good idea to visit Meteor Falls again. Youll need both HM03 (Surf) and HM07 (Waterfall) to explore the cave completely, but its well worth it. Hidden inside Meteor Falls are:

The main reason that most people visit Meteor Falls, is to try and capture Bagon. Bagons final evolve (Salamence), is one of the games most powerful Pokemon, so catching one is well worth it. Bagon however, only appears in a single room of Meteor Falls. The following guide tells you how to get there, as well as negotiating your way around the rest of Meteor Falls, and also the Pokemon youre likely to find there:

Meteor Falls

Whether you enter Meteor Falls from above on Route 114, or below on Route 155, the first room you enter will be the Main Room. There are a couple of easy to get items in this room. Whether you entered from, make your way to the centre of the room (where Team Magma/ Aqua originally grouped). You then have the luxury of being able to Surf upwards. Go up the Waterfall, and surf up to the next bit of land and go through the hole into Room 2.

From here, just walk upwards and rightwards to the next ladder, and go down it into Room 3.

Once in Room 3, follow the path and take the downward route. Follow the path to the ladder and go down the ladder. Youll go back to the Main Room but youll have access to an item right in front of you. Go back on yourself into Room 3 again, but this time take the left route. Go all the way upward and down the ladder. You should be taken back to Room 2.

Work your way rightwards. Immediately above you there should be a couple. Talk to them if you feel like a 2-on-2 battle. Then head right past them and up the four sets of steps. Go rightwards and battle the trainer. Save now in case you get the next bit wrong.

Directly below you there should be a group of sand slopes. Start to jump down them, keeping to the left edge. Keep going, making sure that you take the left fork of the slopes. After youve gone over 6 slopes, you should be able to walk leftward. DONT GO OVER THE SEVENTH SLOPE OR YOU END UP BACK AT THE BEGINNING. Instead, walk leftwards and go down the ladder. It should take you back to Room 3.

Go immediately downwards, down some steps. Then walk right and you should be at the edge of a stretch of water. Surf rightwards and upwards. By landing on the bit of land above, you can go through the hole into Room 4. Or you can sail round the bend (not that round the bend- pillock) and surf downwards. This route eventually ends in a dead end, but does contain an item.

Room 4 consists mainly of water, but with two tiny spaces of land at the top and bottom. However, it is only on these small bits of land that you can find Bagon.
