I shake my head and turn my attention back to the map. I can tell there's something off about Edan - the staff was enough - but now I can't help feeling that he's going to bring trouble.
// Speak for yourself. You'll be found out eventually, you know. //
I'm being careful to keep a block on my mind; with Edan poking his nose where it doesn't belong, I refuse to let anyone sneak into my head. He shouldn't get past, being a lower rank in biomancy.
The map still holds no clues other than the first letters of each magic exhibit. Nikolai's divination should have been enough to work. I keep looking from area to area, when I notice something. One of the letters is no longer on its own. Slowly, more are appearing after it: The Mysteries of Merlin.
I smirk and look up at Nikolai, turning the map to let him see. "Looks like your magic worked. This map must be old, since it's stored in here; the charm on it would have aged too." I look back to the map. "We're looking for an exhibit called 'Arcane Artefacts' first; we can't simply leave the museum without a souvenir or two."
