Wow. I caught two shinies (Swellow and Swanna) last night in Ultra Moon exploring the Ultra Wormholes. Combined with the random shiny Pelipper I came across, this officially makes Ultra Moon the game that I've encountered the most shinies in!

So all year I've been going on about wanting a new TV
Finally find one that I like for a good price (49 inch smart tv, £300)
Get some money from the parental units for my birthday towards it
Picked it up from Tesco earlier this evening
Get it home and spend a good hour or so sorting out my living room to set it up
IT'S GOT A BIG DIRTY CRACK IN THE BOTTOM CORNER

phoned customer services who said to just take it back to the store but I just wanted to play splatoon 2 on a stupidly big tv is that so much to ask

also my current tv stand is too small so I'm gonna need to fork out £££ for a new one to sit this  behemoth on top when it's replaced aaaarrrgh

Apparently I pre ordered Splatoon 2 (why isn't it called Spla2n??) and completely forgot about it until I got the email saying it had been dispatched. Thank God I had the foresight to put it on my credit card cuz I don't get paid till tomorrow!!

And yes I did have a super special awesome birthday which mostly involved eating loads and drinking way too much and getting a two day hangover because I'm bloody ancient.

I LOVE Bewear. It's adorable and wrecks everything. I really wanted a Drampa but it's a Moon exclusive and my other ridiculous looking fave of this gen, Palossand, came along too late to really slot into my team since my Mudsdale is also a machine.

After the pain of having a Dragonite run away, I caught a Pigeot the other night and then the game crashed and when it restarted I didn't have the Pigeot anymore. Also every time I try to use the AR mode I get some stupid error message.

Finally have a day off work so I could spend a bit of time wandering about town with this! Got my ass handed to me at a gym but I did manage to find a Clefairy. Also I've learned more about this town through Pokespots that I have from living here for the past 31 years.
