And, a region based off Mexico!
Because Unova was MURICA, and Kalos was all Francey Par-CORE hohoho le poisson stuff, maybe the new region would be based on Mexico, complete with mariachi!

Oh god no.
I can't really give any expectations for the 7th Gen, only speculations. Although with that said, what we do know about future main series games so far is that Ken Sugimori is very much under the impression that the games need to be simplified and that duplicate items and attacks need to be removed.
In terms of big stuff like the region and so on, I think that it will either be based on South/Central America, Africa or will be a completely original region not really based on anything. I could probably draw some other expectations but I'd need to have a re-look over some interviews and other stuff and see what comes up.

Woah woah woah. We're talking gen 7 already? Seems a bit too early.
Anyways, i'll just give a list of things I want want:
-Either Team Rocket's return or a least an evil team better than Flare
-Some original typings (you know you want to see a fairy/fire type)
-If possible, a game for the wii u and/or 3ds like XD Gale of Darkness
-A champion that uses all 3 starters from that gen
-Possibly final evolution starters that are pure typed
-
A new eeveelution
Things I expect:
-To keep the "choose the order you face each one" E4
-A fire type without fighting as the other one if it has another type
-A pokemon great in theory but bad in execution
-A pokemon bad in theory but awesome in execution
-A new evil team as bad, if not worse, as Flare

Why can't they base this new region off of Canada, or did Sinnoh do that perfectly

I want to see a Pokemon that is Poison/Fire, preferably a Mega Evolution for Weezing, another Normal/Fighting type, a rat like Pokemon that is Dark type and carries around a sack to pick up objects it finds on the ground and stashes them in its secret nest, a Mega for Hydreigon, a Sphynx Pokemon, a Dark type Gym, the return of N who actually helps you in a way similar to Cynthia, Steven, and Lance did, and certain attacks and moves become TMs and HMs. To be more precise, the TMs I'd like to see are Sky Attack, Moonblast, Pay Day, Metronome, Body Slam/Heat Slam/Heavy Slam, the elemental Punches, Mega Punch, Mega Kick, Inferno, Heat Wave, Hurricane, Trump Card, and Boomburst. HMs I'd like to see Foresight which has the effect on the field to reveal hidden Ghost Pokemon and Kecleon as well as safe passageways and hidden items in certain areas.

What I would like, but don't really expect, is:
Some Pokémon will be able to have 2 abilities simultaneously.
Mega Charizard X will have Tough Claws and Levitate.
Beedrill will have Swarm/Sniper and Levitate.
Mega Beedrill will have have Adaptability and Levitate.
Venomoth will have Shield Dust/Tinted Lens/Wonder Skin plus Levitate.
Mew could possibly get it too since we know it can fly.
Mega Altaria will have Pixilate and Levitate.
I could continue for a lot longer since there are a lot of new Pokémon that I think should have Levitate.
Skill Swap, Role Play etc. will only affect the original ability and not the additional Levitate, although it's possible that Gastro Acid could affect both abilities at once.
Mold Breaker, Turboblaze and Teravolt will ignore the additional Levitate as normal.

It will probably have a lot of awesome stuff and actually be pretty good but I'll have to resort to becoming a Juggalo to afford it.

Some more ACTUAL evolutions/pre-evolutions of past Pokemon. They're just overhyping the Mega thing.

I'd like to see some dragons with secondary types that haven't been done before. Who wouldn't want to see an insectile dragon? Or a fairy dragon, yes?
