It's rare for me to find a metal cover of a song that goes hard and still remains romantic sounding. They killed it to be honest.

I just found out some wonderful news. I got passed over for a scholarship that I was pretty sure I was going to get and was crucial to me minimizing my student debt for my first 4 years of college. Now i'm completely and utterly screwed.

I need advice.

Edit: I saw the list of students that won it from my school and I know I beat at least half of them in basically every category. I am downright furious.

So i'm typing the password into the amazon account and it keeps saying it's incorrect. Meanwhile it works on my brother's computer. What the hell?

I graduate today but the high is supposed to be 93 (in american measurements), which is a record in my neck of the woods for today. It's also supposed to be humid. I'll be wearing dress clothing as well as my robes. smh

So last night we were turning into the gas station and the car behind us decided that we weren't turning fast enough, so they sped past us and almost hit the car. We lay on the horn and they point a gun at us, leading to a huge confrontation and the police being called. They said we had the gun, and seeing as how the security cameras at this gas station are suspect, nothing will be done.

I won the outstanding senior boy competition for my school. So basically i'm the male face of the graduating class.

Did some scholarship interviews today. The first one had 2 guys interviewing me, and I could tell within 5 seconds that the one didn't like me, so I tried to appeal to the other one and walked out knowing I didn't get it. The second interview went much better. All of the judges were engaged and asking questions, and they all seemed generally interested. An hour after the interview ended, when I had just gotten home, I got a call from the people who did the second interview and they said I won the scholarship.

Del basically explained what I wanted to say but I couldn't put into words.

On a similar note, a few of us on one of the discord servers i'm on are trying to help this one guy diagnose why no one wants to write and roleplay with him. We attempt to present some possible opinions, especially on his characters (all of which feel the same and are flatter than the earth Swansea's chances of ever winning Premier League). So he immediately assumes we are attacking him and then pretty much does a "plug your ears if you can't hear them they aren't attacking you" thing.

To be fair, if your mind goes there, it's your fault for seeing the innuendo. While there are some instances where it's obvious, many cases that are questionable are left to the reader and most of the time it isn't always the worst.

Update on the Amazon issue: Apparently it gives you the price for the entire order, but when my bank processes a preorder price, I don't get charged for it and the money doesn't come out until the item is released and ready to ship. That's stupid in my opinion.

I am tired of Amazon billing me twice for something I preorder: once when I order, and again when it ships out a month later. I check my records on my debit card and it is being charged both times. So basically, i'm paying twice for the same item. Here's the kicker: every time it says it will come in on the release date and it ends up being delayed due to the number of orders placed for that item. Meaning: I payed twice to reserve something that got given to someone else who ordered it way after I did and I have to wait.

Never pre-ordering from amazon ever again.
