I've added all the pretty much definite yesses, assuming I still know how to do all of this. You should have added forum access if you're on the list.
Yup, I got in.

General Pokémon Discussion / Re: Underrated Pokemon
« on: May 28, 2015, 00:59 »
IDK if outclassed=underrated. Cases like flygon are why we have the tier system in Smogon, so that it "theoretically" has a chance to see some use. But now that salamence has fallen from grace I wonder how that's shaken things up? Underrated would mean Pokemon that are low-tiered/considered low viability but are actually much better than people think.

Manaphy and Landorus-I a few months ago I'd say were underrated. If anyone was underrated now I guess Raikou? I've had a lot of fun using it. It's essentially a more offensive and faster version of Rotom-W if you stick an assault vest on it. Sure it doesn't get Will-o-Wisp or any sustain but it switches in on a lot of things and pivots away all speedy like with volt switch. 115 base speed is a really nice tier to have, letting it outspeed base 100s and still having room for some HP investment.

Even with assault vest in the game, it can be difficult to get something that can take special hits reliably. Ferrothorn kinda works, but lots of people run Landorus-T as their wall as Ferro doesn't contribute much offensively. Since he doesn't get much on the special side in terms of EV investment though, he doesn't take special hits that well. No one really wants to run two walls on both sides of the spectrum à la SkarmBliss because Pokemon have been getting stronger since then. But Raikou can take special hits and retaliate pretty damn hard with its zip zap cattiness. In fact, both Landorus-T and Raikou hit pretty hard even when running their respective defensive and assault vest sets. So you have a sweet bulky voltturn core.

I don't personally rate Choice Specs sets that much. Assault vest feels so much more versatile, whereas Choice Specs is more high risk high reward. Doesn't seem to fit my playstyle too much is all.

But yeah, Raikou is a pretty cool Pokemon and I feel like it should be used more. Or not so it doesnt get suspected (well no worries, it's definitely not that strong. But it kinda sucks against other Raikou)

Debate / Re: The 2015 General Election
« on: May 27, 2015, 22:45 »
I voted conservative. Felt like there was no real alternative. Labour didn't look strong enough to take power in the run up to the election, and they had almost zero support in my constituency. After the tuition fees fiasco with Lib Dem, I didn't want to vote for them either. In retrospect, that was completely petty, since it was the conservative influence in the first place that forced them into it.

Also is this proportional representation train derailed or not? I personally don't think it's a great idea. I feel like its dangerous to give the smaller, more extremist parties like UKIP a bigger shot at Westminster.

I found a shiny weepinbell and a shiny tailow within a day of each other. That's gotta be some crazy luck right?

I can't speak for Shaymin herself but everything you see can be done in something as simple as paint. Here's a nice tutorial that DragonPika made a while back: http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2010/163/8/7/Metaspriting_Tutotial_by_Dragonpika.png

Mostly I would imagine that the style is just a lot of practice.

Gaming / Re: What do you think of Smash 4?

Thanks for the help. What do you people think about pokemon #150 joining the fight?
He's got potential but he doesn't really suit me. u-air and b-air have a very nice range to them but it feels like they dont have much knock back, and on the flipside f-air feels very narrow even though it's deadly when it lands. Very cool fighter though, lots of fun seeing combos thrown around with his specials.

Not sure if this is the right forum for this sort of topic, but I'm wondering if there's a website that gives me a list of Pokemon that can learn a combination of moves? I'm looking for something with Will-o-Wisp and Safeguard (I now know that Ninetales gets both), but it'd be nice to be able to search for these sorts of things.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for that, but i'm on Marth now. ^^;

Also, I got Mewtwo, and his forward throw is op. Without doing any extra damage with it (a grab and straight throw), it does 22 damage. Also, the smash attacks aren't half bad imo. Plus the final smash is pretty good too, but when I tested it, for some reason it does better when you have multiple opponents caught.

Edit: Up throw does 32. We're all doomed
Everything I said applies to Marth as well. Forward throw can be DI'd to avoid a lot of the damage it seems. Smash attacks are nice enough, up-smash is definitely super cool. Up throw is disgusting, kills fresh at like 140% or something.

But he's always really light and feels weird in the air. I don't think I'll be taking much more time to learn him properly.

I could run surf over scald on Milotic, which gives it a much bigger threat. +2 surf hitting both of the opponent Pokemon is nothing to sniff at.

^If you wanna send me some videos, that would be great.

Don't remind me about Rich, the only time I faced him, it was cold blooded murder, and sharp water throwing stars and swords flew around in a blur. I got a couple counters and a dash attack, that's all I could pin on him, for a grand total of 40% damage. Since then, i've been obsessed with learning effective throwing (he used a lot of throws), but Lucina's throws aren't exactly great. xD
Pick up the Crescent Slash Custom Up-B. It true combos from Forward throw up to around 70% and kills if your near enough the stage. It'll take a bit of time to adjust to it, since the recovery angle is dffierent, but it gives you some decent throw follow-up.

Otherwise, Down-thrown true comboes into U-air up to about 15%. Past that you can start setting up landing traps. As your opponent is about to touch the ground, short hop into U-air them then fast fall into the ground. Your opponent responds in one of two ways:
They air dodge into the ground and have landing lag. You should have enough time to grab/dancing blade/f-tilt/u-tilt/d-tilt whatever and get them back in the air. Rinse and repeat.
They get hit. Rinse and repeat.
Obviously, if you get hit by a falling aerial then this doesn't work so you need to be keen with your spacing etc. etc. but that's something you can do from throws.

Also your U-throw kills at about 150-170% depending on rage so there you go.

Lucy's Dash attack sucks.
