Maybe transfering them to X and Y unlocks a nice Shiny Arceus event to complete the set?

It's super convinient and stuff but I miss the days you got a special ticket to an event island rather than just having a delivery man show up at the Pokemon center and say "Hey there kid, there's a delivery for you - it's a super rare coloured version of one of the most terrifying legendary Pokemon in the word, sign here please!"

They have SPOTPASS now on X/Y. They could just make it so every time there's an event the event island changes rather than downloads..

Oh well, I guess there will be demos for X/Y in store.

Right, take this with a massive pinch of salt as always, but I went into GAME today and got talking to the guys on the counter about the event and, while they clearly knew nothing about Pokémon, they were adamant that the shiny Creation Trio eventmon would "evolve" upon transfer to X&Y.

Now this of course could be the usual nonsense spouted by game shop employees but.. possible Mega forms~?

No, they're distributed via local wireless, which means just going into the store and downloading them.

Just got my 4 shiny Dialgas today, it seems that the natures are random unlike the shiny dog trio.
