^They wont be. Pretty sure they emphasised that these were going to be main line pokemon games, which pretty much either means gen 8 or gen 4 remakes. Personally i think gen 8 is more likely, cause itd be weird putting a remake on a new system before an entirely new game, but who knows. Maybe theyll surprise all of us and give us another gen 1 remake, given its been longer since frlg than dppl.

Anyway, im cool with this whole thing. The massive jump in power between the 3ds and the switch is going to make these next games very interesting, whatever they turn out to be.

Less of a joke and more of a, come on, theres no damn way that "can fly around the world in just 16 hours" is anything but the ramblings of a kid who happens to think their dragonite is the coolest. Whether it was done intentionally or note, to me almost all dex entries sound exactly like they were written by dumb ass children.

This is also of course assuming that the pokedex is an actual authority on anything and not just a collection of data gathered by a bunch of idiot ten year olds because the actual experienced professors were too damn lazy to go out and do any field work.

Hmm, thats a difficult one, because most religions these days have a tendency to get stuck in old, traditional ways, rather than  inciting any kind of change. But im not one of these "religions poison all" people, i think like everything else, organised religion is a tool that can be and has been used for both good and bad. The problem is that people seem to focus more on the specifics of it all, rather than the bigger picture, which is where the idea of change gets murky.

Take christianity, for example, because its what i was raised with and i dont know enough about any other religions to be able to properly comment on them. People are so bogged down with things like, does the bible allow for gay marriage, or abortions, or divorces, or yadayadayada. Instead, imho, the most important thing to take away from the bible (and, im sure, many other religious texts) is the messages of love, kindness and respect towards your neighbours. And its those teachings that can bring real social change, because religious or not, we can all agree that those are good messages to hold.

The way i see it, the problem with our society is that the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and nothings happening to change that. So we need to teach that this idea of success and richness isnt the most important thing, and that being a good and decent person is what really matters. I dont know if religion is specifically the way to do this, mostly they try and enforce this whole thing with the idea of an afterlife, but thats not going to work for everybody, and less and less people are actually willing to believe in a god or a higher power (not all that surprising, really, looking at the world). But then, many religious figures, like Jesus for the most obvious example, actually provide very good teachings. Personally, i think christianity needs to focus more on those teachings, rather than the whole "son of god, performed miracles, came back from the dead" deal, because thats what turns non-religious people away from his actual message.

Anyway, wow, that ended up as one long ass ramble, and im not even sure if any of it made sense, but oh well. Dont even know where half of that came from lol. Whatever though, feel free to tear it apart and point out why everything i said was total nonsense if you like.

Sniped, so I just want to say I largely agree with SirBlaziken too. Social change can totally come without the help of religion. Religion is just one of many factors that can help move society forward, as long as its utilised correctly.

My mind and body have been making me sex obsessed for ages, and my brother is literally the only straight guy with average inteligence or higher that I know!
What can I do?

I can't get close enough to a guy to have a friendship, let alone a relationship with them.

I mean, if its just sex, its not like you need a relationship for that...

Thanks to certain internet providers being insanely terrible, I have no wifi in my house for 3 to 5 business days. Which is fine, ill just spend my time editing my book and, no wait, all my files are online so I cant access them. So uh, guess ill just sit here and slowly go insane as I waste all my phones data looking at twitter. Yaaaay.

« on: August 29, 2017, 10:45 »
^I dont think thats such a great way of doing it, simply because theres going to be way more people wanting first gen pokemon rated than say 7th gen. It just doesnt seem the best way to split up the work. Honestly, it could be good to have a namerater named after each region, but they should be able to rate any gen and the work should be split up equally between them to really save time.

In the doctor falls, theres a moment when the doctor remembers his most recent companions, and we flashback to them all shouting "doctor". Among them was clara, who the doctor still has no memory of. Either thats sloppy writing, or a hint that this regenerations restoring some of his lost memories.

Thinking back on the poison thing, totally forgot that bulbasaur is part poison, so youd even be able to keep your starter. Plus i cant think of a single gen 1 gym you couldnt at least make a good stab at. Sorry, i guess i just really want to see how a poison only run would go, since its a pretty underused and unappreciated type in general, and im too lazy to try it myself.
