have you ever been tricked that whiskey tastes good at all bc my mum bought whiskey and gave some of it to me straight and i think i died

hello shaymins ghost. rip that you died but welcome to the forums,

also want 2 say whiskey is Good. i used to hate it but i bought mid shelf supermarket own brand (dog turd whiskey basically) and was like "why is this so hard to get into, who poisoned the whiskey". once i got a few good single malts bought for me for bdays etc it was one of the best things in the world but i cant drink anymore because im an epilepsy now and i miss it A LOT.

flowers & horticulture kind of fills that gap tho cos i dont want people to think im sittin here bein miserable all day cos i cant drink whiskey or whatever cos thats a bad look,

Oof all we need is for someone to put some orange cordial into their whiskey and we've completed the holy trinity of awful things to put into whiskey.

we'll call it "the unholy trinity". watch it actually take off and be a huge success like those godawful saisons and them dumbass canned craft IPAs with crap like cumin and ambergris in them

p.s. sorry in advance if you like canned IPAs i just get really angry at them,

Ginger ale goes really nice with it tho lowkey and probs would go nice with the cinnamon variants.

despite loving ginger i cant stand ginger ale lol. ill try again one day but the only mixer ill tolerate (whiskey should be neat and only have a few teaspoons of water if its too harsh/open stuff up a bit) is lemonade for mixing with laphroaig because no-one can drink that stuff neat. it makes this smoky hint lemonade n whiskey and i luv it

parma violet gin

p sure people have homemade that stuff before a la skittles vodka? i mean im curious tbh but

Adding blackcurrant to whisky has probably been one of the worst decisions I've made in a long time, ngl.

 It was horrible.

have you ever been tricked by the bartender into them thinking whiskey and a squeeze of lime is good,

spoiler, it isn't, it tastes like someone put their hair in a candle flame

My mum has no understanding of how singing works.

When I'm singing a song I like, which is typically a boy band song, my mum complains I'm singing too deep and that I should sing in a different key. She doesn't understand that when singing at the same time a song is playing, you have to match the key, or else it sounds stupid.

Then she tells me to sing in a different octave, but when I do, she complains that I'm singing too high!

I just can't enjoy singing when my mum is around.

honestly when she starts to complain id keep the same tune but replace all the lyrics in the song with "shut uuuuup shut uuuuuup" but that might not go down well so maybe dont do it perhaps.

i guess this is me being sympathy annoyed that ppl cant just let other people sing for the sake of singing and not treat it like theyre one of the judges on x factor. when im prime minister criticising peoples singing will be illegal,

Did Donald Trump or one of his associates read this forum thread?

BBC News has finally shared pictures of him with his mouth closed.

Now I'm happy. He looks nicer this way!

they had to wire his mouth shut to stop him saying stupid stuff but they didnt take his twitter account away for some asanine reason so we're back to square one really

My anxiety is making progress. I'm fighting as hard as I can it's slowly getting easier. It's still hard but I can't give up, even if my body and mind are telling me to give in.

Please keep me in your thoughts.

of course ya big nerd (looks like im gonna hardcore wedgie u but actually goes to ruffle ur hair)

soz to be That Jerk and idk if you have had a Formal Diagnosis of (motions head)......you know......but if you have you might find a book called "Asperger Syndrome and Anxiety" by a guy called Nick Dublin might help a bit even if ur not inclined that way entirely. its basically a little bit "anxiety for nerds" and i guess you can take or leave the majority of stuff from it depending.

strictly speakin its ~~~written for adults~~~~ but ive been finding it ok. its got some neat tips about tryina get ur parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest, as opposed to the fight or flight one which is the sympathetic nervous system, basically you either have one or the other on at once and the book goes on about this) back in charge with breathing exercises etc.

but thats all i know cos im still at the beginning of the book cos i have to read past the chapter where it talks about having meltdowns & it says "having meltdowns is ok, find a space to have them in private, now we will-" and ironically i ragequit the book there cos i have made it my lifes mission to never meltdown ever cos im not That type of autist but yeh im trying again lol

anyway if ur havin trouble finding it let me know

anyway its not easy but from one nervous nerd to another keep fightin the good fight!!!! youll get there and youll find out how actually powerless the anxiety really is when you do

i want 2 go for the extremely online aspect of "hes ruined nintendos Toad for life" but would rather go for something more clueless like "i hate how he pees on his own toupee to dye it yellow every morning"

edit: i forgot my post which was i lost a really funny post ages ago on tumblr about someone trying to play ssbb but everyone in the house telling them off cos "these kids in the game wont stop yelling Beaky Burner and Beaky Blunder all the time" or something like that and you know that feeling when you want a funny post that you like and even googles "well i know everything about you now" algorithms arent helping

anyway thats my first world angst for today i guess

i got a wisdom tooth coming in but im still a dumbass how does that work

i still have all of my wisdom teeth and look how i turned out (dueling banjos plays softly in background)

speaking of sunburn related problems
i got burned about a week ago and it's pretty much all healed now but, in its wake, it has left massive amounts of acne. my head is looking like one of those really bumpy oranges

looks like you'are now...........................toast.............. ...........

sorry to hear tho and i hope ur skin gets well soon

Went back to look at my CV and I realised that I had botched an important part of it which left me looking like an absolute spud.

well as long as its not as bad as the guy on the place i lurk elsewhere who sadly reported he threw out a bunch of CVs at hopefuls and in the "i volunteer for additional shifts when others can't make it" part found out he posthumously accidentally left out the letter f

anyway dont u worry and keep on at it and remember every interview or application that went tits up was just Practise for the one that works

//in giffgaff voice, extremely overgregarious// welcome to giffgaff. youve selected the £5 goodybag, nice one. you'll practically run out of data the minute your phone turns on. ha ha. tara for now. BEEP

literally had to update to the £7.50 a month one because for some reason they jump up to 1GB for only two fifty a month more and YES i know on the 11th of the 7 theyre making it so the £5er people have 500MB of data but i need more data now for google maps for this whole "i dont know where anything is or where im going" experience. 1gb is the sweet spot and theres no "i send about 10 texts a month and use about 20 minutes but could really do with lots of internet" package.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~peoples network of the year~~~~~~~~ my ass. id go over there and let them know a thing or two if i wasnt so lazy and fat and stupid
edit: for any giffgaff employees who for some insane reason live on pkmn.net.org.uk.com.html.biz its an okay network i just throw a huge tantrum any time things have to change
trying to practice driving and i clipped a mailbox with my window
it's not a huge deal because it's not damaged but oof im so bad at driving lol
everyones bad at driving until this magical switch goes after ages and ages of sucking horribly at it and they suddenly theyre  good at it. keep clippin mailboxes till u cant clip no more. as in like dont actually clip mailboxes deliberately but like some form of "go at it till you fail at failing" sentiment like that i guess.
protip: anyone who passes their test the first time is either lying, incredibly lucky or bribed the instructor
English exam today. Gonna fail.
you should expect the worst but hope for the best cos goddamn u do not want to get into the habit of sadsack self-fufilling prophecies
i mean i say this and i have no idea if reasonable special needs adjustments have been made which knowing this dumbass pedagogical system (dont start me on uk education but i hear in US education common core is a mess with these nonsensical new unneccessary "modernised" ways of adding and subtracting) they might not've
still try ur absolute best so u can just shrug and go "well i tried at least" & good luck anyway
my dream: earn enough money to own portable air conditioner @ home + prescription sunglasses + fashionable linen/linen+cotton blend clothing and never fear summer again
see i was looking forward to it after old man winter constantly teabagging the nation with his ice cold balls but now im bored of the sun and the concept of warmth in general. that bit in spring where its ~15°C-17ºC and sunny and i can wear a tshirt but feel comfortably chilly is just about ok
