Random Randomness / Re: Your worst fears
« on: April 06, 2016, 01:57 »
I almost drowned in Lake Erie when I was 5 and I (somewhat ironically) love the ocean. So guess i'm a special case or something.

Situations like that affect different people in different ways. You can have a 'traumatic' experience and not be traumatised by it. Car crashes for example, I've had one (I was the driver lol) and it didn't stop me from driving when I got a new car.

Close family deaths for me. That being said they are inevitable, so nothing I can do. Aside from that I don't really have any other fears. Well that or a brain aneurysm.

Random Randomness / Re: Stopping smoking?
« on: September 21, 2014, 21:58 »
Morover, girls tend not to like kissing those stinky mouths.

Depends on the girl, some don't care, some do. If they smoke it's never an issue, but even if they don't smoke they don't always care.

I smoke far too much as it is and I've never really given much serious thought to quitting. A friend of mine when he was cutting down replaced it with coffee of all things; if he wants a smoke, he has a cup of coffee instead. Probably turned him into a caffeine addict, but still smoking is the habit with the most negative social stigma attached to it, caffeine is a more socially acceptable addiction.

Role Play / Re: A good Yu-Gi-Oh roleplay [Disc]

It would be interesting, but the duels would be difficult to implement, I tried to play a game of chess in an RP a few years ago and that took a while, but you'd have to be specific on the cards your decks contained, can't go pulling a random really rare/powerful card out of the bag somewhere, maybe everyone could PM their deck to you before the RP started? So it's only the owner of the RP that knows what everyone has, or something along those lines.

Team Building / Re: Odd movesets that work
« on: August 30, 2013, 17:48 »
Set-up Altaria @ Sitrus Berry (might change this)

Nature: Careful
Evs: 252/0/0/0/252/4
-> Cotton guard
-> Outrage
-> Dragon Dance
-> Roost

Only Outrage is needed to attack, as only steel resists it. First use cotton guard twice, then use dragon dance as long as you can afford to, roosting when necessary. Finally use outrage.

This idea has massive move-slot syndrome. As it is it's very vulnerable to being burned, which mean you'll have to switch out and lose your boosts (Natural Cure removes the burn). It needs a move like Substitute or Heal Bell, but you can't go without Cotton Guard, as it's the crux of the set. A better moveset in my opinion would be:

Altaria @ Leftovers
{Natural Cure}
Careful Nature
252HP / 252SpD / 6Spe
- Cotton Guard
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Substitute / Roost / Heal Bell

Cotton Guard for the defence boosts means you don't need any Defensive EVs, leaving you free to max our HP and Special Defense. Dragon Dance for setting up and Outrage for smashing everything in sight. Only resistant type is Steel, which will still probably take a lot from a +6 Outrage (need damage calcs but cba to do any). Substitute would probably be the best choice after you get a Cotton Guard up, probably better than Roost because while you lose the instant healing, you gain status immunity on top of maxed out Defences. Roost is an option obviously if you have some other way to deal with status other than Heal Bell, which means this Pokemon can double as a cleric.

Haven't posted in Team Building in so long, so not sure how good those sets will be.

Eek-A-Mouse - Ganja Smuggling

Such a good chilled out song, my friend showed it to my last night and I've been searching for a song like this for AGES.
